When will we get a truly bezel-less phone like pic related?
When will we get a truly bezel-less phone like pic related?
>he wants to have unintentional touch inputs caused by your hands not having anywhere else to grab
That looks ugly, impractical, and almost impossible to build.
>display must force touch everywhere
>press any key to unlock
That's not the only way for screens respond to.
When a manufacturer decides to innovate a below-screen selfie camera or when Applel decides to omit it all together for the sake of "bravery"
Hopefully never because I use my phone with one hand and it's already difficult enough to reach the other side without unwanted input.
>press any key to unlock
They should just add a small "selfie screen" on the back.
The fat on the palm around my thumb already touches the screen on the side when I'm holding a regular phone and it fucks everything up, I don't want less bezel.
the fat on my stomach used to always click the trackpad on my moms macbook air. i love my new thinkpad
What people think it will be like:
>revolutionary! life altering design!
What it really is:
>4% shorter phone
I mean you'd put a case in it anyway
mi mix 2s is close to it and idk if anything more makes any sense
Mi Mix 3
Make the bezel small so we can have big margins, genius. The bezelless phone meme is retarded.
Why the fuck would you want that unless you have lady hands
I still see a bezel
Hold it by the side, fathands
>chin
nope
3 Display iPhone X is better
What is the fucking point?
No borders is a popular topic these days.
Do you really think you deserve one?
Xiaomi mix 2/2s is the closest thing you can get that's usable right now.
The bottom bezel actually functions really well as a landing zone for the gestures like swiping up for home/recents.
If we're going to go the route of bezel-less, it needs to be completely 100% touch screen, none of that speaker or notch at the top. Notches are one of the tackiest and most off-putting things about bezel-less phones currently.
Agreed. Notches are a bain to the aesthetic of any phone. I would rather have a phone with a thicker bezel that delivers a great experience than to compromise and have some unsightly notch constantly in the forefront of my mind while I'm trying to shitpost or watch videos from a phone that I paid $1,200 for.
wait some months
You can still use the edges as a screen, just not for touch input.
I've seen this picture millions of times and just noticed that.
