>wanna get away from NSA's data mining >buy a popular and "well trusted" VPN subscription >check IP >it's routed through USA
Why are VPN companies allowed to do this? This is a total disregard of user's privacy and security. Can they be sued for using virtual servers instead of real ones?
Came here after downloading a trial of that very vpn 10 minutes ago. Weird.
Ayden Murphy
Don't buy it. It has a parent company based in New York where your financial processing is done. And by law a US based company have to keep a proper record of their financial transactions, so your details will be saved as a VPN user.
Chase Sanchez
Ok, thanks very much man, I already uninstalled it with revo uninstaller. I made the mistake of looking on a best vpn list instead of asking on Jow Forums. I believe AzireVPN looks promising, it's based in Sweden and their laws don't allow keeping data stored apparently. New to this vpn stuff so I just tried the 3 day free trial of Nordvpn. Going to do further research and try get a good price on one.
Angel Torres
It seems you didn't read their TOS, because you'd also might like to know that they store your personal data for up to 2 years.
Camden Bennett
>""""trusted"""" vpn >not reading the privacy policy good goyim
>f you're using Windows 10, what's even the point? If you're using ANY professor made since the mid 00s, what's the point? If ZOG really wants you, they have a back door to get you. As far as VPN, anything that advertises on the fucking chans is trash. The one you want is the one that denied ZOG the info they needed to prosecute pedos. If they'll protect fucking pedos, they'l protect your ass stealing games and films or whatever you're doing.
Lincoln Cox
>g ANY professor *processor. I thought a big part of what snowden revealed was that ZOG had backdoors to them all.
Camden Smith
>If you're using ANY professor made since the mid 00s, what's the point? Okay, how does that work? To get to me they must at least know the Mac address for my CPU and network card.
Therefore if I use VPN and a router/external WLAN card, there should be no way to actually triangulate my PC and, therefore, to access it.
Hudson Sullivan
Unless you VPN is in fucking China or NK all your traffic is getting filtered through USA period.
Wyatt Peterson
NSA can easily break VPN crypto. IF they don't do it real time, they capture the traffic and run it later. wake up kids
The idea i think was that all intel and amd cpu's have hardware exploits since the early 2000's. Windows has also clearly had backdoor written into it for the NSA. Over four 0-day exploits were used in the 2008~? 'virus' targeting Iran centrifuges. Those 0-day exploits were around from windows 98.
'They' don't need to find you. No one cares about your porn. 99% of all people in this world are a complete waste.
Jose Torres
ecc based crypto used nsa selected constants that make it easier for them to crack. i think its been "fixed" but it still lost trust.
Christian Young
PIA is good. It's been proven that they don't keep logs of anything
Brandon Green
>>it's routed through USA because USA has the most efficient cost metrics for the routing tables you VPN provider only controls at most two hops
vpn isn't privacy, vpn is trust if you want privacy then don't use the internet
Samuel Garcia
ask your bank for a refund cause your service you bought isnt on par simple
Wyatt Smith
lost trust?
Hackers, and Industry professionals alike, use virtualization technology on many levels. One of the key parts of Meltdown/Specter bug is that also allows software to 'break out' of a Virtual Machine via hardware exploit present on all Intel/AMD CPU.
This is a truly sad story. Much like an alien virus from a movie, all computers/software are likely compromised in some way. No one seems to care.
David Peterson
or they are basically hiding it and only will reveal it when something big happens. just like fbi/cia drop charges when forced to reveal their sources.
Alexander Thompson
Perfect privacy vpn you faggots tired of telling you
Charles Sanchez
>winblows 10 >uses vpn Why? Just why?
Colton Gutierrez
What country is the least likely to give your home country your personal information? That would probably be the best country for a VPN to route through in your case.
Isaiah Bennett
That doesn't answer my question in any way.
Adrian Mitchell
The route will always come back to the US. A VPN tunnel does not avoid this.
Aaron Rivera
(((marketing)))
Henry Green
Spaeaking of VPN and privacy, TunnelBear is what do you need
They changed from Tunnelbear because it was bought over by a non Canadian company, which they can't trust the future of the product for. Now they shill Private Internet Access.
Parker Martinez
>not using a self-hosted VPN hosted in a third world shithole
Cooper Torres
Works fine for me, but I noticed they don't always connect you to the country you want it to, sometimes it connects to me Canada when I want to connect to the Japanese servers but it still says I am connected to Japan.
Louis Rossmann just did a video about NordVPN and basically said it's a fucking scam. They are a bunch of hacks that are just pigging backing off of paid shill promotion done by a bunch of "social media influencers." Fuck Nord.
>inb4 (((Rossmann))), kike-this, jew-that
Aiden Butler
They actually changed because McAfee bought them and McAfee has an absolute shit reputation.
Aiden Parker
>Louis Rossmann just did a video about NordVPN and basically said it's a fucking scam Confirmed for not even watching the video. He listed the reasons why the writing reminded him of scams in the past and why he wouldn't advertise one product out of the blue, when he hasn't been using it like the repair tools he mentioned. Look here: thatoneprivacysite.net/vpn-comparison-chart/
>How's PIA? The PIA program for Linux and Windows have a program design flaw, which temporarily stores your username and password in an unencrypted file.
“It happens because there are 2 (main) processes one handling the GUI and one which handles the connection. As someone is connecting to the VPN the GUI process writes the username and password in plain text into a file called user_pass.txt in the installation folder. Then the second process is being spawned an reads from the file and deletes it. So if you block the file from being deleted you can read the username and password in plain text.”
There are plenty of ways to ID a user even if they are using decent vpn. >browser finger print.
Tyler Allen
OpenVPN is a protocol not a provider, you double retard.
Evan Bailey
haha trying this hard to call someone out. You really should read the posts more carefully. user never said there was an issue with PIA's VPN, however, there is an issue with the program the provide to connect to the VPN. One that can be avoided by using OpenVPN.
Julian Johnson
The average Jow Forums user

The NSA has no jurisdiction in my country. Couldn't care less of some burger knows I'm browsing Jow Forums

No =)

Are the VPNs in Russia any good, do they protect the pedos?
Angel Ward
kys shill
Gavin Diaz
Intel ME and AMD's competitor (PSP) are both low level cores accessible at any time with access to memory. The consumer premise had something to do with updating and security, but the reality is:
>ME has full access to memory (without the parent CPU having any knowledge); has full access to the TCP/IP stack and can send and receive network packets independently of the operating system, thus bypassing its firewall.
Landon King
yeah the gulags are pretty safe, the NSA won't get you when you're safely in Siberia
Aaron Allen
>do they protect the pedos? No. We literally pass internet censorship laws to "protect the children". PIA servers in Russia were seized by FSB.
Chase Garcia
VPNs are sketchy as fuck, period. They only add a layer of obfuscation but let's face it, even if you're tunneling torrents or streaming pirated content you're creating a series of patterns that indicates beyond a reasonable doubt that you're doing something illegal. Frankly it's probably better to do it transparently.
The sole benefit is you won't receive DMCA/RIAA notices at your mailbox, you will still be tracked by the VPN, your ISP, and the fed regardless, and you're painting a target on yourself by using a VPN since you're connecting to a known handful of IPs to do plainly illegal things.
Anthony Butler
>ipleak.com Does this site not load for anyoneelse?
Ryan Clark
Just don't do the crime.
Bentley James
so watching is alright, pay per view is alright, but producing gets you v& kind of deal? Makes me wonder, what kind of protection do producers use?
>Implying all data going through the US is automatically data mined by "da gubment" Fuck off back to Jow Forums or /x/. I really should buy some stock in companies like Reynolds that produce aluminum foil.
Oliver Cooper
Checked and keked my fellow dude! Kek bless you!
Matthew Reyes
This. Drop Windows and get a better VPN
Easton Morales
Yeah I know a guy who uses Nord (massive redditor too lol). After their keys got leaked [1] (back in 2016) I'd never trust Nord.
