Why is c++ suddenly becoming popular everywhere?

this graph is wrong

Because you were tricked by internet memes and nothing has actually changed?

Linux said C++ is shit

"suddenly"

Because when you actually need to write good software you find that every other language is lacking.

because C++ has always been one of the most popular languages??????????'

The issue is that C should *absolutely* not be that popular.

>assembly
>10th

your data is absolutely fucked

C++11 and newer are actually good, that's why.

>r above javascript
wow this graph is complete nonsense

>python used in embedded devices
this graph is wrong

Without assembly you have no computer

Who actually writes asm directly? Very few.

It was taught as the “default coding language” at some BS Tech School I went to. For coding they taught Java, but for everything else like Mechanical Engineering and Robotics they taught C++.
It makes literally no sense, and even sounds like bs after I’ve read what I wrote. I don’t know what the fuck their problem was, but it was an overall shit school that went from one of the most prestigious schools in the West Coast US to getting overrun with “omg uni lol rawr XD!!!1!1!1!!” thots, an outrageous amount of homosexuals, and grown ass “men” that thought it was cool to draw gang signs in the bathroom stalls.

Regardless, now I know C++ because of that school and I pretty much have nothing to do with it except for hobby shit, but at least the school landed my ass a decent job.

All engineers in Pennsylvania state schools have to take C++

C++17 is the greatest language of all time

I'd really not say until 13+ has it actually become considerably good.

Because everyone tried the new shitty languages for a few hours and realized they're worthless piles of dung.

most software engineers for the US military

clang and google made it at least semi-pleasant

What is that graph supposed to represent?
