Why do you use Windows rather than a good OS?

Not everyone can afford a mac and hackintosh stuff is unreliable

Linux is remarkable sable.

Windows is a good OS you shit for brains Linux toddler.

Comfy enough

Looked up your monitor and it seems pretty good, would you recommend it?

Absolutely. I have only had it for 9 days. 1440p looks great on a 24" display. Usually 1440p displays are 27", so 24" is sharper. You don't have to use scaling. At first everything feels small but you get used to it after about a week of usage.

It is a TN panel. Before I was using this monitor, I had an IPS panel. You can tell the difference, but it's not as big as you'd think. TN displays have improved drastically over the years.

My GTX 770 can only do 120Hz. But if I upgrade to a GTX 1070, I would be able to run this thing at 165Hz. It also has G-SYNC which is great. I paid $350 for it. The regular price is $500 I believe.

>OSX > Linux > Windows
This is a well-established hierarchy.

Get the fuck out of here.............

Thanks for the info, $350 for 1440p 144Hz sounds like a fucking steal

>Have to install bash via WSL
>cant do a screen-fetch thread
>Does speccy instead, which is still installing somthing mundane.

Windows users really are a special breed.

but he said good OS

I don't even have display drivers in place yet. I'm rocking a solid 1024x768 on a 2k monitor.

No problem. It was definitely a steal. Had to immediately order it the moment I saw it on sale. G-SYNC monitors usually are extremely expensive because of the "G-SYNC tax".

Getting G-SYNC, 1440p and 165Hz for $350 was a steal.

i got a question

does the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T worth it considering my specs?

>ib4 buy something new that outdated
>ib4 pheneom

you see i am in avery tight budget and the only thing i can do is upgrade what i already got

The higest you can run on that board is a 95w CPU, so the Phenom X6 1055T is the higest you can go due to VRM limitations, a 1090t or 1100t would work in the board but it couldn't sustain it's base clock if you stress it.

The smell of a fresh Windows 7 install.

>all that scaling on a 1080p screen
What the hell user.

Is it worth it the loss of those 200 mhz?

The X6 does have more cache on it, more cores, which is better in this day and age, and if you can achieve a 229 bus speed, you can get it to 3.2GHz if the VRM can run it without throttling.

>the smell of no ssd

lol imagine using scaling on a 1080p display

what a sad cuck

Not everyone is a burger
