Shortage of 7th/8th gen Intel processors

youtube.com/watch?v=6sIq80_KEdo

>tl;dr/I don't speak spic edition
intel emailed hardware suppliers/retail stores saying there'll be a shortage of supplies of 7th and 8th gen intel processors in the following months. expect price hikes everywhere.

>it's due to shortage goyim.

>intel
the absolute fucking state...

Poor yields on 14nm++++++? HAHAHAHAHA

>expect price hikes everywhere
expect price kikes everywhere

this desu

Only 8700k sells well, anything else is overshadowed by Ryzen

8400 is the best though

Shitposting benchmarks won't ever change the fact that 8400 sells poorly.

They were talking about sales, retard.

>there are people in this very thread who only own 4c/4t

Gross. These shouldn't be in the top 10.

That's the actual box? God damn.

7700k was a decent buy...1.5 years ago, but it aged like milk. Horrible choice.

>bought AMD stock at $1.87 a share
DELIDD THIS RIGHT NOW, FILTHY GOYIM

INTEL IS LITERALLY DYING

>152/115 is higher than 152/116
Nice try kike

Let me guess, they've switched their production capacity to the tiger lake(or how the fyck this new lake is called), it had shit yields, so they had to cut down production of older gen to produce at least some.

delet this

>nobody buys their shit
>artificially tries to choke the market out of cpu's
>gonna increase the price
>LOOK WE ARE AHEAD OF AMD

Attached: 1468528071007.jpg (225x225, 6K)

Imagine they're gonna spin it like shortage due to EXCESSIVELY HIGH DEMAND

>I don't speak spic
that's a SOPA DE MACACO
>intelaviv
>shortage of supplies
>price hikes
literally no one is buying their shit, this is nothing more than a BLATANT LIE to gauge the price up to compensate for the current money losses so that stock holders don't start to sell their shares and leaving intel in more shit than they already are
only stupid people, and those being "coerced" (read blackmailed) by intel, will believe in that shit

just informing :^)

"no"

are you me? same thought yesterday

>8700k and 8600k benchmarks are only available as golden 5.2ghz OC

who the fuck prepared this bench?

Thats it im not waiting for 9th gen
Going to pull the trigger on 8700k

>buying Intel

This but unironically.

8350k is the /1080p cpu/

If Intel were smart they would sell their fabs.

They're either gonna do this or just go under.

>Not using 8250u ES

>not using Athlon 64

>not using P3

look again.

>expect price hikes everywhere.

Good thing I'm not some kind of retard that buys a new cpu every year so this has no affect on me whatsoever.

I got a free 6850k and looking at some x99 boards, anyways why is the 6850k more expensive than the 8700k?

Stop asking such silly questions go- I mean boy

I approve

just another day in tel aviv where they rubs their hands together.

I lold

they're just switching production to their CFS shit i dont think it's a big deal (except for retards that actually want 8th let alone 7th generation intelaviv garbage)

Did he say anything about NUCs? I might buy a June Canyon Pentium NUC kit at some point. Would prefer Ryzen, but there's nothing in this form factor (and price class) so far.

But user, Core is a rehash of it.

only OG p3 owners allowed

>yfw even AMD have headquarter in ISFAKE desert ?

Wow, Intel's new 10nm production hit the fabs so hard they are running out of 14nm lines to meet their widly popular current gen demand.
A bit of a blunder from Intel, but nobody expected poozen to crash this hard so it's understandable. Since their surprise 10nm lineup is at the doorstep of commercial release this also gives a good opportunity to free up the storage space while giving a chance of those poor sods who bet on gaymd and were holding out to purchase a top of the line processor, albeit with a sensible price-markup for missing out and coming late.

Nope

Nobody needs more than 4 cores.................

But user, I do own a P3, it's just that I use it as a paperweight.

SHUT IT DOWN SHUT IT DOWN SHUT IT DOWN

>CFS

Why can't we combat Intel's malicious behavior without being anti-semitic?

Because they're the jew incarnate.

>16 core
>32 threads
>4.4Ghz all core boost
>Not including XFR

Intel is finished

At 1800 burgers threadripper 2 will clean house. Sure I doubt it will have ECC support to keep it seperate from EPYC but we are looking at traditionally big boys only core count cpus on the desktop.

DELID

Just you wait until 7nm.

Threadripper has ECC support, but no support for LRDIMMs/RIMMs so it can only support up to 128GiB of UDIMM.

4.45GHz with XFR is what I figured it'd be.
$100 price drop on 2950X is a welcome surprise. I figured maybe $50 less.

$1800 and $1300 is I think what most reasonable people guessed the 2990WX and 2970WX would be.

I bet this was totally a legit employee and not a shill from Jow Forums

>4.4Ghz all core boost
>all
[citation needed]

The 1950X already does all core 4Ghz.

It'll be 4.45GHz on 4 cores.

All core isn't going to be 4.4 all core except maybe in some scenarios with PBO enabled in really light yet multithreaded workloads.
