Would you give up 144hz for a nice 1440p 60hz IPS monitor ?

Hell no. Which is why I have a nice 1440p, 144hz, IPS monitor, and you should too.

>give up ridiculous hz for 1440p/72hz/32"/3000:1 MVA/10bit (8bit+FRC)
I already did user.
I already did.

No, I have a 1440p 144hz VA panel and a 4k IPS panel already.

Which do you prefer and daily?

I have both faghot. 144hz IPS with no blb. Casual tech weeebs

>IPS with no blb
Get a load of this liar!

3440x1440 34" Ultrawide at 120hz is better

Depends what i'm doing.

Certain games are better on the 4k, some are better on the 1440p 144hz.

Same with media, for UHD source content i'll watch it on the 4k 100% of the time, but for anime I usually use the 1440p 144hz for the 3000:1 contrast ratio and I use SVP to get smooth anime at 144fps.

But most movies I end up watching on the 4k since it's physically larger, though I wish it had a better contrast ratio like the 1440p.

what monitor do you have ?

I wouldn't give up anything because my monitors are better than your dream.

what monitors do you have ?

I have a 1440p/144Hz/IPS monitor, it's the best of all worlds.

1000:1 contrast ratio and response time says otherwise.

It's decent if you need the color accuracy, but you're better off going TN or VA on the 144hz panel and then a 2nd IPS panel that is dedicated to color accurate work.

Personally 1440p 144hz VA panel is the current best, 3000:1 contrast and decent colors and viewing angles compared to TN

all these fags larping about their no-compromises monitors but not stating ANY MODELS OR BRANDS WHATSOEVER

for me
LG 43UD79 & MSI MPG27CQ

...

that's the size of a tv.

Yes, it is. And it's great

Assuming you have the desktop space, what's the problem?

It has identical pixel density to a 22" 1080p panel.

My setup is a Dell S2716DG (27" 1440p 144Hz TN with gsync) and a U2717D (27" 1440p 60Hz IPS), no regrets.

nice. What cpu do you have to run that 144hz monitor ?

2700X

:o that's what i'm planning on getting glad it's working out for you.

I would give up the 4k meme if there were 1440p screens wider than my toaster oven.
