AHAHAHAHA Linux cucks

Surely worth it. And it's not even the OS and the monitor you have to buy.

Linux users are so fucking pathetic.

Does this not work?
$ xrandr --mode 1920x1080 --rate 144
Perhaps you can make a custom mode, there's a command for it, dont remember it

the problem is that most DEs don't respect it -- the mouse will be moving around at 144fps, but the rest of the DE, in most cases, will not. even on gaymur distros like Ubuntu this is a confirmed issue:
bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/ source/meta-gnome3/ bug/1767693

i got it to work in KDE by messing around with some settings, but it did not work by default. and the only browser that seems to be able to work with 144hz are firefox based ones

Don't know if I'd call Ubuntu a gaymer distro but the Gnome devs are pretty full of themselves and like to blame everything else for their issues

is this true? I don't follow the linux developer communities much, I kinda just use the software that works for me (KDE Neon fag reporting in)

Yeah, Gnome devs are pricks

>Gnome devs are pretty full of themselves and like to blame everything else for their issues
So basically they are default linux users

I have a 144, a 240, a 60, and a 60 all working fine at intended refresh rate

Works in sway with wlroots.

This. Also, it'll get better once the hardware for it gets more popular (more people to debug/test). That's how it's always been on open-source.

been using 18.04 and my 390x since it came and the previous release before that at native hertz with zero issues
this sounds like a 'you' problem op

Cinnamon doesn't seem to have any problems.

>Gnome hardcoded the refresh rate values

>linux users defend this
