In the somewhat more distant future...

In the somewhat more distant future, people may come with built-in bio computers that directly interact with body functions. Think of ten different forms of events that software applications on such computers will have to deal with

Looks like he/she might just be in for a massive infection.

>installing botnet directly inside body
yeah, fuck no

You can probably install gentoo on them tho

>software bug gives person a heart attack

I think this is already an issue with pacemakers that have wireless functionality in order for doctors to fine tune the machine or get reports of error.

>oh shit i forgot to do my homework
>better ask Jow Forums
I hope you fail your course t b h

so fucking what, your brain is backing itself at proper intervals, you just get a new body and reboot in it, no big deal

>software update
>left eye wont focus
>dont update
>body gets hacked by bluetooth device at the gas station

This image real?

Saw this back in 2013, looked gross back then, certainly looks gross still. If he'd waited for a little time, tech might be smaller. Also there was this biohacker woman who actually had more than that, ended with tons of physical issues - needless to say, she had mental issues too.

>Looks like he/she might just be in for a massive infection.
Yup.
Reminds me of a case around here where a patient got some silly infection from a nurse not washing hands and it developed into sepsis in a question of days.
And all that happened because of a little IV bag of saline to hydrate.

>gay furry porn streamed directly into your eyes and eardrums.

The future is bright for you OP

>opt out of data collection
>"Heart beat functionality has been disabled."

underrated

>be me
>working on collab with people
>one guy from Hungary always fucking late to checkin
>keeps losing his swipe card for the lab he uses
>he's the eeprom/rfid guy
>we joke that he should program a chip with his id and get it implanted
>he decides to for teh lulz
>has to buy chip, programs it and then has to get eu/govt/uni/drs. permission
>get's it implanted between thumb and forefinger
>"It works!"

>tfw he was still fucking late to all of our checkins....

It's funny because this will literally happen.

A solution to all diseases and most cosmetic issues. Makes drugs and food obsolete since you can make some basic nutrition paste taste like anything you want. Makes input and output PC devices obsolete as well. Batteries too. Fug, the possibilities are nearly endless.

>get erection
>logged and sent to (((the cloud)))
>AI analyses live video feed from my eyes
>sees that I am looking at a qt
>audits my consensual sexual encounter block chain ledger
>notices that no contract for sexual arousal has been signed between me and said qt
>alerts local authorities
>arrested for sexual assault and attempted rape

Yeah that sums up Democrat hell nicely.

We already have pacemakers and a multitude of other electronic devices that are implanted into a body

I was thinking about getting nfc chip implanted somewhere that unlocked my phone. But then I realized I could get infected with it and stopped.

Revelation 13

16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,
17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.

Sounds like a fun raspberry pi project

People that do this to themselves are beyond fucked

Fuck off back to (or wal-mart...)

All cyborgs will be executed on decree of the 4th Reich.

Tread careful human.

I would like a CPU for my brain. Nothing too fancy - just something to offload mathematical computations onto. I think about a problem, my CPU processes it and hands the answer back to me.

While pacemakers are hideously riddled with security holes as is, in the event of failure they do actually have a hardware path to revert to a steady frequency in case the thing crashes/reboots/etc

It's usually not the optimal frequency tuned for the individual patient, but it's designed to prevent them from having a heart attack in the event of malfunction

Wow. Its like I'm really on Facebook. Nice blogpost. Please tell me more about your personal life.

take your cretin religion out of here

They told me I could live forever, so I died at 28.

m8, you just scored yourself a shiny new dx2 and 128mb of memory

I already have one; a pacemaker. The hospital techs can log in to it and read out the log or set the operating parameters. Remotely, if necessary.
Where interaction with body functions are concerned, it don't come more direct.

>forget to backup for several months
>lose all your recent memories

>implying this isn't old news

Who hasn't heard of Barnaby Jack before? Are you even allowed on this webzone?

1. Killswitch that instantly kills the bearer. Will be used by the government if you dissent.

>If he'd waited for a little time, tech might be smaller
Its not even that hard to make something way smaller.
The person who made that for him probably made it large as a joke.

IoT in medical devices was a mistake.

Not him but you're retarded. It's on topic and an anecdote that actually contributes to the conversation. Now what did your comment add to this thread? Not only that but now I replied to your useless comment so you're indirectly clogging this thread up even more
