Tried aimp, couldn't get used to it, the built in alarm clock doesn't have an option to run daily, it keeps turning off and the android version doesn't work with bluetooth on Xiaomi phones.
Went back to winamp + winalarm plugin in the end.

Honestly, I found that for any legacy filetypes/filetypes that aren't .mp3 like .webm, nvlc is better to use as a music player. I had the same problem with cmus when I tried it and I couldn't find any online help that could solve my problem. Also, patrician taste in music you go there.
