I quite like it personally, runit boots fast. You'll have the issue of some software not being in convenient .deb or .rpm packages unfortunately.

it wont break when I update it and it lacks systemd

I installed Gentoo yesterday and I can't keep up with compilation times :/ Clover is essentially the same thing just with some things pre-installed.
Do I really need .deb or .rpm packages if I'm not going to be using Debian or Redhat?

It's a matter of convenience. A lot of software gets compiled as debs or rpms. Personally I work around this by using flatpak for whatever is not in the repository. You can use xbps-src if you really want to but I find it to be a bit of a hassle.

Hmm, I'll look into it
So you want to say it won't take as much or it will take a small amount of time. I am fine with 15-20 minutes but I am not fine with 3 hours...

How is your cpu also how much ram do you have?

>all this clover shilling just because they finally updated their repos

The best suckless distro around. Fuck all the haters.

It's nice. For some reason it's cucked on my new laptop, though. ALL other Distros seem to do fine with 60 fps, but every browser on Void seems locked at 48. Very weird.
