I thought my Toshiba Chromebook 2 2015 model was a steal given its build quality.

Thinking of buying an Acer Chromebook 14 for €300. I mainly use my laptop for Netflix, internet and word processing.
Am I crazy? I know I can install GalliumOS or something in the future if needs be on the ACB14.

Chromebooks are literally for your exact use case. Browsing, videos, and general use. Chromebooks offer android apps by default now, so if Google Docs isn't enough, you can get Microsoft Word. I've been extensively using ChromeOS and it's more than capable if you're after basic browsing use.

I already have a T420. Maxed out specs. Battery life was atrocious. Screen was even worse than that. It's only saving grace was the keyboard.
