I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux,
is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux.
Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component
of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell
utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day,

how bspwm compares to i3wm?
I'm used to i3, but this screenshot looks comfy
can I achieve these "floating panels" in i3 or is this bspwm thing?
can I have i3 bindings with bspwm?

no, but you can have bspwm bindings?
sxhkd (a separate program used for keybinds with bspwm) is really nice
the config couldn't be simpler, it's much better than setting keybinds in i3 config
both i3 and bspwm have some advantages and disadvantages I suppose, but for me bspwm is better

by "i3 bindings" I meant controls of windows
like tabbing, mod+h to split windows horizontaly mod+v - vertically

trying out Close to the Edge, downloading some jams, and prior to that i was trying out Pinta. really nifty tool, not gonna lie--big fan of PDN as it was my daily editing drive on wangblows so Pinta 1.6 was really fun to use.
Yes-wise, this is a really nice album so far. incredibly digging the choir-like vocals, the upbeat and comfy bass and 'tar, and the occasional keys--all mixes very well, i'd say.

Actually I am in the tiled mode most of the time, but I had a lot of output in my terminal beforehand and I went into tabbed mode so I could read everything easier. Didn't go back because I wanted to scrot fast...

I don't need to show my desktop to criticize yours. Your scrots are always strikingly safe. You never reveal more than a terminal and the occasional image or music player, all of which are stripped of any personality. Your bar is barren and blinding. Your 'titlebars' are obnoxiously cumbersome. Your desktop is trendy form-over-function bullshit taken to an obscene level, and honestly, it's a pretty bad form. hal did it better.

The other desktop, by the way, is literally just a terminal and a wallpaper.

i agree on the fact that my screenshots are very safe lately. i just find it hard to find something new to show.
it's just that i find myself with what i have comfortable right now. i'm not aiming to be a 'legend' of ricing like hal was/is.
and you know, i love white, what's wrong with that? i have my lights turned on and my blinders opened at day time, i don't need muhd4rk1337 colorscheme 24/7 because some bright screen hurts my eyes.
i even stopped using titlebars and borders lately, the titlebar here was literally enabled just for mpv for the screenshot.
