>I used it 25 years ago and it was shit
>today I have a job and I can't waste time trying to learn a new OS
>libre software is good, but it being libre doesn't mean it's a 100 % secure
>the user is still the weakest point of security
I mean, he's not wrong. GNU/Linux was utterly shite until 2007, when Ubuntu came out and both Fedora and OpenSUSE got their shit together. Even then getting audio, printers, GPUs and wireless cards to work properly was a pain in the ass (and a lot of times impossible.) GNU/Linux is good since 2011-2012.
I can't even begin to imagine how awful it must've been to use it in the 90s.

>Linux was utterly shite until 2007, when Ubuntu came out
>2007
>ubuntu came out

He's 100% right though.

implying Linux didn't peak in 2003 before Gnome and KDE auto-lobotomized and systemd skullfucked the remains

you've a lot of nerve posting such blasphemy round these parts user
everyone here knows the EU is dumb and Jow Forums is right about everything and that even jesus himself used linux because it was better than windows because he could rice it to his will and use anime wallpaper to share with his friends

Reminder that Linux is just a kernel.

He's right though.

>Personally, I do not use Linux. The primary reason being is that I am probably still shellshocked from when Linux first came out.

Right into the garbage.
