Ajit Pai admits FCC lied about DDoS

Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai acknowledged Monday that the FCC lied about its public comment system being taken down by a DDoS attack during the net neutrality repeal proceeding.

Pai's FCC had been insisting for more than a year that distributed denial-of-service attacks took down the FCC comment system on May 8, 2017, just as many net neutrality supporters were trying to submit comments opposing Pai's plan to eliminate the rules.

>democracy sucks

lying about being attacked over the internet has never happened before

Reddit spammed us telling us that we wouldn't be able to access Jow Forums if net neutrality was repealed. Why are we still here?

I was told I would die if nn was repealed. I’m dead so I guess reddit was right.

They're both fucking turds.

Things would have been far worse with Hillary Clinton. Trump is actually doing a lot of good things rn. The media is the real problem.

why is his face so annoying

>almost shadow government
Please explain to a retard the meaning and implications of this.

And suddenly, are the Jow Forumsacks are pretending they never supported him at all.
Classic.

just another indian ruining western civ

you'd be smarter if you didnt think about it honestly

not that i like hitlerly but people who live in the sticks are mostly inbred retards

If this dude isn't dead by the end of the year you're all some cucked ass bitches, my american friends.

>land of the freedumbs
Hahaha, enjoy your shit, retards.

I just noticed this, bear with me:
>Ajit Pai
Move the 'P', and capitalize the second part:
>Pajit AI

Shitstan (AKA, India) is trying to take over the American tech industry.
It started with Nutella and Pichai.

tl;dr
jews

it wasn't a DDOS but scripted with many entries so it did the same thing as a DDOS. thats my guess

They're going after the big fish like Netflix first.

>Nutella
Shit is poison.
Its fucking hilarious that people think eating fucking yeast and sugar is healthy.

Yeah, fuck democracy and shit. Why don't we just end term limits and have a monarchy? Trump monarchy sounds great cause then we can keep America Great Again forever!!!!!!!

I didn't know rich people were inbred retards. The vast majority of extremely wealthy people I know live in the gated communities out in the country. Why the fuck would rich people live in urban areas where there are negros there to steal shit from them?

Geographical features do not have the right to vote in America. 50% of the country lives in what is considered an urban area.

Yoghurt is yeast and it's very healthy.

It was overloaded by the sheer volume of comments that were submitted. Because the FCC's systems are garbage. Probably a good portion of them are form letters but it really doesn't matter

Yeast and sugar aren't particularly bad (well, sugar kinda is), it's the palm oil and fucking nuts (the latter because it is basically a ripoff).

>Pai blamed the spreading of false information on employees hired by the Obama administration and said that he isn't to blame because he "inherited... a culture" from "the prior Administration" that led to the spreading of false information.
Pretty much this only happened because we haven't yet purged all the people put in from Obama trying to undermine the country's progress.

How much rich people do you know? The majority of people in the US are not rich.

You must one of the inbred retards he must be talking about

What does that even mean?
Is he talking about the reptilian vampire illuminati globalists?

Thanks for posting the frog, I didn't read a single word of what you wrote.

alex jones was right

This, most of the rich©®™ people in the US:
1.) Have like 20K in credit card debt per family
2.) Have 25-40K 5 year car leases ($500-700/month)
3.) Have 100-200K 10 year college loans ($1,000-2,000/month)
4.) Have 200-400K 30 year home mortgages ($1,200-2,400/month)
5.) Live paycheck to paycheck, no savings of any kind

That sweet sweet 50-100k salary sounds breddy gud until you realize how deep they are in the shit and how even a month of unemployment could make them homeless. Americans are fucking stupid.

>50k salary
>rich

Yurop doesn't have this problem.

dumb fucking frogposter

That's the joke, those are the kind of people that want others to think they're rich.

Imagine having to lie about something because the previous administration was so evil.

All conservatives should be burned alive.

>let a hostile government regulate everything into oblivion
>let corporations nickle and dime customers into oblivion

Why can't you people see that neither of these is a good option?
Keeping power away from a corrupt government however is the lesser of two evils, but the underlying cancer still has to be addressed.

Regulating ISPs so they don't block, throttle and pay prioritize is a good thing. I fail to see how this is bad.

If you give government a venue of power you can never take it away from them. They can take more and more little by little. Year by year they seep in, they expand their reach, and then theres nothing you can do about it.

If the monopoly of current corporations were cut down we'd have more municipal ISPs popping up, but at present the giants are suppressing them. This can only happen because the courts are allowing it. Its another facet of corrupt government holding back progress.
The situation will never be fixed by giving more power to a government that loves power and wants to keep you in check.

>publicly lying

can he get prosecuted?

Probably not.
You pretty much can't be in government unless you lie. Honest people end up as patsies.

>Is waiting for someone to answer "Yes." so they can cry about prosecuting Trump.

>Regulating ISPs so they don't block, throttle and pay prioritize is a good thing
Do you honestly think that's what the Obama-era FCC regulations did? I thought Jow Forums was more informed than the average normie on this subject. I guess not.

>implying you live single
>implying you live somewhere that costs 2400 to live at
Move to Texas you fucking landcucks.
>50-100k is too wide a range
The only time you should have 100k+ of debt is if you're a doctor or a lawyer at a T14. Doctors will make more than enough to pay that shit back especially the ones who get married to another Doctor and so will t14 lawyers.

It's 2018 and there are still people on this board who unironically support the 2015 FCC regulations.

Hopefully with school starting up again this board will become less bluepilled. At least until winter break.

>being this retarded
t. inbred magacel

I want NN Title III. The internet is decentralized and doesn't belong corporations and governments, but educated people (including you).

I bet no one saw that coming.

I can't wait for the NN repeal to happen. The internet will be a much better place without amerisharts spreading their PC and forcing their degeneracy on everyone else in the world.

Nah, it’ll be even worse in some regards. Centralization of web traffic and services will accelerate as the way Americans access the internet changes. You don’t have to look very far to see how these big platforms promote the worst kind of cesspools. That said, some of the more fringe aggregators of ‘content’ which fuel said pools would be starved.

Literally the only good post you've made.

Umm user, do you have any statistics to back up literally anything you just said?

>A republic = a democracy

I'm still not buying it. To me, it seems you have an irrational fear of regulation.
