your rules do not influence me as I have no job

Attached: smug.jpg (604x438, 14K)

Kys faggot.

Only fags who gatekeep can post below

>90k salary
>1 time 10k sign on
>performance based yearly bonus, roughly 10k, no guarantee
>500k of stocks doled out over 4 years
>standard living costs are easily half of your take-home income
>valley niggers have the gall to say shit like "if you're not making 1mil by the time you're 16, there's no hope for you"
Comfy with my six-figure salary in GA to be honest famalamama.

>working remote for a sunnyvale company
>do the lion's share of the job the narcisstic snowflakes in the HQ can't handle
>get paid in bananas
>ask for raise
>get told no
>hand in resignation
>get offered money
>refuse because I have principles
>leave
>never hear about the company ever again

jokes on me, they probably made the big bucks

>I'd rather make 50k in bumfuck flyover land and pay 10k a year in rent than make 200k in SV and pay $30k a year in rent

Titties. Thats all.

>work at the Starbucks
>make over $5,000 USD in tips every day

Feels good, man

flyover cope

I never tip :^)

And I never cum in your coffee ;^)

Hope you never go back to places where you never tip, otherwise enjoy swallowing free spit, cum and piss.

Get paid a regular wage fucking faggots tipping is the dumbest thing ever.

>30k a year
For a shoebox maybe. If you want even a small 1br youre looking at $5500/mo easy

People make more from tips than they ever would on a normal wage for service. Anybody who complains about it is an idiot.

That's exactly why I don't tip, if you live in California you're entitled to state minimum wage. I don't care about you giving my food and refilling my water. I could do it myself I'd literally walk to the kitchen and get my own order. That's usually why I order take out I don't deal with tipping faggots.

I make a lot of money and I'm happy to tip people doing a nice job. Get over yourself, cheap faggot.

I'm cheap and I'll always be cheap. Like I said tipping is for faggots. I'd rather throw gasoline on dollar bills and watch them burn then tip someone.

>Only people who work in Silicon Valley can post in this thread
So this is HN now? god I hate that website.

Because I wouldn't be making $5,000 USD/day then ;^)

HN crossposts are routinely deleted here for not being tech

I don't see what's wrong with that site though, you will get what you decide to engage with

>live in seattle
>get paid about what they pay in Silicon Valley
>rent is at least 30% cheaper here
>mostly white but there are street shiters here
>no state income tax
>slightly less traffic but 520 and 405 can be headaches at times
>it snows here so it looks pretty for like a day but it doesn't snow too much
>3/4ths of the year the day star is covered by clouds
>no state income tax

Sucks to suck california faggos.

Is the show actually good?

Fuck no.

The first season is decent. The rest, not so much...

>no state income tax
>everything just costs 40% more by default

;^)

>no state income tax
Don't worry, you'll get a city income tax soon.

I pay 1800 for rent a month for a one bed room near work. i make about 120k a year with benefits. Gas costs just as much as in California and food is about equal. The only thing that costs more is alcohol but since I don't drink it doesn't matter to me. The roads are nicer, pubic services such as libraries are better and the city looks nicer.

Moving to bellevue or kirkland if that happens. I doubt the state will allow that though

Having principles is a sign of low IQ.

>crying babies in this thread
Can't wait to silence all of you shitlords *sips latte* *takes HRT*

Googler here. 300k TC

I work at Google cleaning dilators for the staff.

L5?

Working at Amazon in seattle. Ama

Stop going to Jow Forums and posting ban messages for Nooglers faggot

learn to english much?

L4? No way, are you in MTV? 250k TC here.

teamblind.com/article/google-engineer---total-compensation-in-us---ultimate-post-jYcrij5X

Well is talking about the fucking bans on every single telephone service IP range where we can connect to Jow Forums around campus. It's fucking annoying as hell.

>per week
Oh I see. I guess I'm in the mid-range, but I did just start so that's expected.

How many years have you been there? I'm looking at 260k in my 2018 W2, but only had one stock refresh so far. I'll probably reach 300k with a refresh in 2019.

i actually joined this year but with a ton of experience, big boss mentioned l5 to me already so we'll see about that

How much do you mean by a ton? Generally anything past 8 years they expect you to come in at L5.

more than 8 for sure, they gave me a super easy interview for some reason

What about people that are remote out of SV?

first to be laid off when the economy crashes latter this year

>when the economy crashes latter this year
People have been saying this since 2011. Either way these companies don't do layoffs, and will still remain profitable during a recession. The only risk is that people leave voluntarily due to the value of their RSUs crashing.

Google closed a lot of offices during the last recession

No they didn't. They closed a random small sales office in Austin. All the engineering staff remained intact.

Everything after season 1 is just
>Richard fucks everything up
>Somebody else fucks up even worse
>Everything is suddenly alright

My asshole is in need of a good dicking. Would any of you buys like to have a throw?

youtube.com/watch?v=mkrUXiOzaN4

in case you didnt catch the latest season, once they kicked erlich the show magically was fucking decent once again.

I will give you maybe it wasnt everyone's taste anymore, but they stopped using a lot of gimmicky bullshit and cringe moments, i feel like it was a desperate plea to undo the previous seasons worth of fucking dogshit they had made

why are there no hispanics at tech companies?

Sorry wrong thread. This shit won't let me delete it so soon.

ya

how u prepare for le gugle interview?

Really makes you think...

I love it how you get no replies

pretty gross

leetcode

Per month and 15 minutes from Google.

Google Pittsburgh?

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat are you living in a single room or something. You seem really comfy. :( I pay more than 3k per month

Yeah single room in NW sunnyvale, I don't mind though in larger apartment I didn't use most of the space 99% of time outside of bed and desk.

How about someone who wrote for the show a bit?

enjoy your meth house

I'm in Sunnyvale too. I'm the kind of person that feels uncomfortable living with others and I'm pretty much wasting most of the room in my apartment. Was planning on having my fiancee here but they moved and we broke up...

Even if they did I have plenty of experience. Wouldn't be hard to find a new job. I interview every 3 months to stay non rusty. Plus I have some pretty crazy certs in the field so I'm pretty much top tier.

>living in commiefornia

Digits of truth
I too make seven figures and pay three figure rents

>live in minneapolis
>comfy cool/winter weather 7 months out of the year
>live in a modest studio apartment with a gorgeous view of the city
>within walking distance of a big dog-friendly park and a cute neighborhood with a bunch of boutique stores and whatnot
>commute out of the city, takes 20 minutes to get to work on a bad day
>$850/month
you're all baiting yourselves

good luck getting hired in a hiring freeze.

I don't work in Silicon Valley

true

Silicon Valley is pretty different to the rest of California as long as you stay WELL outside San Francisco.

Getting emails from brainwashed morons from SF is aggravating though.

what other state to live in if youre attracted to asian girls?

>I too make seven figures and pay three figure rents
Patrician tier. Six figure pay here, four figure rent. How fucked am I?

It's over.

i make 44k/yr and pay $1500/mo in rent

may as well slash your wrists right now desu

Who do you hire?

Attached: mog3.png (288x534, 222K)

how big are your breasts?

whats their exp?

I make 200k+ and live at home

>tfw company moved to a new office and it has a giant cafeteria with top tier food that's all free and it serves breakfast, lunch and dinner

I could get used to this

was thinking about moving there, but... didnt see any real tech sector? Winters seem worse than what I'm used to right now (I live in midwest city also, but prob even with Chicago or so).

Anyone here go from start-up to megacorp and find that they fucking couldnt stand it? I fucking hated all the red tape political dick sucking that went on. I immediately went back to a start-up.

I hate dogs and don't buy things.

went from startup to goog and loved it

i dont think my parents would appreciate my daily routine of coming home from work and masturbating

Does this really cost money?
I don't want to pay $35 a month...

Man, lucky you. I'm forever going to stay in start-ups. I went to a big 3 automaker and I literally fucking hated my life. I'd only "test" certain big co's now; won't go to just "any" now.

This was me like 2 years ago, but family got pissed I was making more money than them, so I left haha.

free version is good enough
