Why there are only few bezel-less screen laptops while it's standard for pretty much every mid-range smartphone.

Because laptops are designed for work not for fashion.

bezel-less is recent for both laptops and smartphones, so there's not many of them

Speaking of laptops, are there any recommendations of something good but cheap? My main goal is to edit family pictures with GIMP and to hopefully watch DVD/Blurays.
I'm a poorfag but my boredom at work is becoming too much.

I don't personally care much about bezels, but carrying around a laptop or phone that has a smaller footprint without sacrificing screen real estate can be practical.

Because you don't open and close your bezel-less smartphone several times a day, unlike what you would do with a laptop.
