Startisback doesn't have a patch or keygen out yet as far as I know. Simply a pre-patched installer is out and I'm not fucking with that. I take the license files or generated serials and any cracks I run through virustotal.

i am forced to use Windows 10 at work and it's a steaming pile of shit. search didn't work until I added the start menu as a location to the search index, calculator didn't show on task bar for months, and clicking the fucking settings icon doesn't open the fucking app.

Here it still doesn't work.

I remember now, also had to add "program files" and "program files (x86)" to the search index. then it (mostly) worked.

You've disabled search services + cortana. This much is obvious because you're missing a notebook icon under the home icon in search. This is known to fuck with search, obviously.

No, those icons are just hidden. Right click on taskbar, it will let you do that. Nothing disabled, it was a fresh installation.

I saw the trial reset but I'm not running that shit out of the sandbox and it won't run in the sandbox. I want to know what registry keys and files (if any) it fucks with. That's the only way I do shit and the trial reset breaks when I run it in a sandbox (or doesn't run at all I forgot).

The post is fucking with you. The notebook icon only disappears when you disable Cortana. But the search indexing service should still work and find the shortcuts in your start menu anyways.

there's some retarded issue with the time set during installation, changed afterwards and the ability to edit the start menu layout. there's something about it on stackoverflow.

basically on a fresh laptop bios had utc+8 time, windows 10 pro set it as such during installation. i had the same issue with bloatware and start menu - windows wouldn't change the layout, because after installation i set utc+1, and the pajeet code would reject any changes as older than the layout after the installation.

either wait a few hours or make sure bios has the right time and reinstall.
