>implying there's a difference anymore

Firefox

>same speeds

Does anyone still unironically use chrom*?

Firefox since I can disable all the cancerous shit in a couple minutes.

>Botnet
Vs.
>Botnet

I struggle with Firefox, it just doesn't look and feel as good to me.. currently using Vivaldi.

Attached: 1026px-Vivaldi_web_browser_logo.svg[1].png (1026x1024, 63K)

Firefox
Shouldn't be trusted for privacy, but does a better job than Chrome

Based Vivaldi

Love that new history stats

Attached: 53d64df3-3c21-4a95-902d-129ec1011e14.png (1858x1080, 285K)

And we love your history.

>>better extensions
really? firefox killed off basically all the extensions I had installed. that combined with making it as botnet as chrome makes the difference between firefox and chromium negligible.

Based drudge report.

I use Chrome unironically

I'd take Firefox.

Yes, really. It's like before but it still allows you to do more than chrome. And now its more stable and fast. For instance firefox can actually block network requests. about:config alone offers way more which makes me think you don't really know what you're talking about. Firefox also gives more control over the UI. And the fact that it's FOSS is just another reason to like it more.

Firefox has been pissing me off lately. Now my cursor randomly hangs when a page is loading sometimes. About ready to go back to chrome.

>t. Google shill

Qutebrowser

I went with Firefox with all the privacy settings from the Interpol/Illuminati website.

I gotta say Chrome is just too convenient. Them knowing everything about me, where I go, and what I search for benefits me as a user (but not as a slave of the global elite).

Firefox is open source. Please point to the line of code that is "botnet"

>making it as botnet as chrome
Except it objectively isn't.

I use both

github.com/mozilla/gecko/blob/8a13b3f7a106b3b2f8c3ab557a34e880bbf8955f/browser/components/newtab/lib/TelemetryFeed.jsm#L316

Use ungoogled chromium

Because Firefox actually remembers websites you visit. I can usually type in the page header or any part of an url and the website will show up on the url bar.

On Chrome, websites won;t appear even though the browser clearly shows that you've already visited the site. That shit is annoying.

Attached: chromes.png (620x456, 28K)

It's because google wants you to search instead of use local data.

holy FUCK user
your browser is FILTHY

ok what settings, addons and stuff are necessary to do when installing firefox

I don't know whats necessary for you but:

which you can turn off

>gorshill

Chrome is for normies who only install it because jewgle tells them to with popups every time they use their pc. Firefox isn't much better though, I started using Waterfox after Firefox had that update that broke all the addons forever.

it's open source you retard, you can cut that shit out yourself if you don't like the idea of it.

Firefox, you can disabled all the botnets shit in the about:config menu.

Chrome
i had a good time in firefox until they start breaking all the addons i use while chrome still supports those addons

Firefox
>better UI/UX
>more features
>better adblocking
>better security and privacy

Firefox fails on almost every front.

Fact: every person who uses firefox loves gay sex

firefox's devtools truly suck, so there's that

same

I use Chrome all the time

^desu

this is the face of autism

Even after they killed all the add-on, they still got more than Chrome did.

I need to update Vivaldi
You need to use a different tab structure.

also slower and uses more ram and also shit

creepy spyware made by evil spooks
vs
the foundation of the TOR browser

Jesus Christ this is embarrassing

Attached: brave_icon_beta_linux.png (512x512, 87K)

just why? no extensions and really no good features compared to firefox.

>no extensions
Will come in 1.0
>no good features compared to firefox
It has less trackers built into it and seems to care about privacy significantly more than Mozilla. They got Tor working inside the Brave while Mozilla hasn't integrated Tor in over 2 years now.

How can open source be botnet?

Attached: Chromium_Material_Icon-256x256.png (256x256, 21K)

Does it support userscripts yet? Last time I tried it, I dumped it quickly because no Jow Forums x.

Opera with chrome extentions

>Same speed
I wish this were true, then I could uninstall chrome. But sadly I need to keep it around for a small handful of that run 2 to 3 times faster in chrome

How is this not a botnet?

I had firefox before Chrome launched, and i still use it. It has its flaws, so does my car, but god knows i wouldn't be better witching to an American budget car.

Do you know about any good guide for Firefox post installation changes? I made many in my time both for privacy and performance, but with time my and dozens of versions of Firefox my profile got bloated, but I can't really start a new because I don't remember those changes.

They hope to get an extension store by the end of next month.

why not Yadex? it has dynamic background you know

Attached: yandex.jpg (970x606, 62K)

>spyware
Might as well use chrome/opera/vivaldi/epic

Thats bullahit, especially with ublock origin in hard mode.

You're going to be one of those retards that runs Tor with unique extenstions and settings used by your everyday browser.

- by being stored only locally
- if you enable cloud sync, it uses end to end encryption with a different password than your Vivaldi account

By knowing what an actual botnet is, brainlet.

Unironically this

You do realize tor browser won't exist anymore? It's getting integrated into the next Firefox ESR, probably as a separate profile.

>seperate profile
And that would be better than what Brave is doing.

>You do realize tor browser won't exist anymore?
Source?
It's getting integrated into the next Firefox ESR, probably as a separate profile.
Better than introducing a new web engine and promoting everyone use Tor with their normal browser that has unique settings and extensions making everyone less anonymous.

that's a strange way to say firefox

>not liking the guy who made the modern web tolerable

>even thinking about chrome
I'm not a firefox shill, use whatever you want as long as it isn't chrome.

Can someone post that picture with all the reasons not to use Chrome?

>Better than introducing a new web engine and promoting everyone use Tor with their normal browser that has unique settings and extensions making everyone less anonymous
This is only relevant for some users. But the idea is to have any normie, which isn't doing anything that requires 100% privacy, to use tor tabs instead of """incognito""". It's an improvement, and Firefox doesn't have this option.

>source
wiki.mozilla.org/Security/Fusion
>the ultimate long-term goal of Fusion is to integrate full Tor Browser features in Firefox.
So far they've only done the "tor uplift" so that tor browser can be a simple set of patches to actual Firefox instead of having to be a Firefox fork.
But brave beat them to tor integration which is good for anyone who doesn't want to run a separate browser just to hide what they're doing online from their ISP and most sites they visit.

>And that would be better than what Brave is doing.
This is IF they keep it as a separate profile, and not a container like they're currently planning.

Let's not forget the fact that Firefox includes actual trackers inside their browser while brave does not, and most tracking features are opt out while they're opt in on brave.
reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org/reports/20835/
reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org/reports/20433/
I don't give a shit about Firefox's engine being better than chromium, if they include tracking built in no amount of browsing privacy will protect you.

>10 million wiki tabs
Dude lmao

HOW THE FUCK CAN I THEME FIREFOX QUANTUM?

what extensions do you need outside of UBO?

go on, tell us how

This is just an example. There's a lot more you can do.
github.com/overdodactyl/ShadowFox

Not him but I use
>ublock origin
>umatrix
>smart https
>decentraleyes
>firefox multi-account containers
>cookie autodelete

Again, different user but make your own user.js or use someone elses if you know what its doing.

Thanks for all the info, I actually prefer light compact firefox over Dark. I wanted to create my own theme and stylish allows that pretty easily on older versions.

anyways, thanks

No. Firefox's JavaScript runs significantly slower than Chrome's. Ive been playing around with webgl and chrome kicks Firefox's ass all around.

There is no mention of stopping the Tor browser. It just talks about integration.
And practing the best methods for anomynity is relevant for all users. The Tor browser is set up differently then regular firefox. Its configured more for security and privacy. Something you can do on any firefox browser btw.

>webgl
Yea I disable that shit in firefox. And everything I've tried has been just as fast or faster in firefox with ubo.
techdows.com/2011/05/how-to-disable-webgl-in-chrome.html

>webgl
You're supposed to disable this. It's a security and privacy risk.
security.stackexchange.com/questions/13799/is-webgl-a-security-concern

Attached: og.png (1200x630, 263K)

that's like saying I have to choose between a chrome painted pile of shit and a pile of shit that's on fire.
Just how can you live with yourself?
Russian botnet
Fuck off Bravefag.
>actually supporting Apple software
Please leave.

>actually dismissing software just because "f-f-fuck apple!"
Please leave.

>Picking between which group of Jews to give your privacy info to.

I give mine to the chrome Jews because it's faster and better looking.

>same speeds
>buffers videos when you open a new tab

ungoogled chromium is the fastest and most private so i'm on team chrome

I'm so mad Tor won't integrate uBlock Origin. Absolutely fucking retarded. Now there's a fingerprinting risk if you install it yourself.

What are some essential Chromium flags like ?

Attached: Cr.png (400x400, 6K)

Replace chrome with chromium and this may become worth discussing.

Proprietary hipster shitware

>2018
>FireFox
>Still can't customize "New Page" or add even add background.

>using a browser to watch videos
mpv+ytdl is better than any browser for videos

This

Stack those tabs dude. Catalog in panel is pretty comfy too.

>not using ungoogled chromium
