between 9 and 10.5 depending on the font

>using anything below 6

32

72

14, sometimes 16

Depends on the font. Also, your IDE or text editor is pure bloat. Proper syntax highlighting is for pussies. Auto completion is for nigger faggots. Install Nano. Use a bitmapped font.

The optimal font size for my viewing distance of course
If you are regularly using 12 or below you are either straining your eyes for no reason or are sitting far too close.

I'm sitting a good 2.5 ft away from my monitor (big desk) and size 10 is very easy to see. You need glasses. I have glasses and can see just fine with them.

Source Code Pro size 14 on a 32" retina display.

my eyesight has been getting worse over the years and i keep increasing the font size because i dont want to get glasses

sometimes 9pt for more lines on screen, sometimes 16pt for ease of reading

Do you know without screen resolution and size this information means fuck all?

This for when I'm using my laptop screen. I sometimes bump it up when using a larger monitor.
No reason to make my eyes work to see the letters.
