doesn't scale lol

>Windows
Found your problem, buddy.

So how will ubuntu server be any better?

Apache software always seems to have shit logging.
>Have to set up a Hadoop cluster
>For some reason some of the daemons aren't starting
>Find error logs "error: Service failed to start, see

Its not just apache, nginx is the same way as well.

it just werks

It literally tells you the error. It can't bind to 0.0.0.0:80. Check if there is another process using that port.

Will apache or nginx work straight out from after downloading it and I
Extracting it into my folder in Ubuntu server?

Skype binds 80 and 443 by default.
Next time actually fucking check before posting a brainless topic.

Just use openbsd + httpd They made their own simple secure webserver from scratch. Litterally built in. A breeze to use.
this

>windows without skype
user....

Okay I just uninstalled and it still opens for like less than a second then closes.

>sudo apt install apache
now do your magic, just read docs a little if you won't mind

THIS

Holy shit, how embarrassing

>cd to nothing
>try and execute a folder
>trying to open httpd
>not running as admin

Why not just install WAMP using the precompiled binary you brainlet?

Don't download and run it like you would on Windows. Just do When you install it using the package manager, you will magically get a configured and running web server.

I see

No you don't.
Use a sever distro like rhel/centos you mongrel.
