Japan is all about technology...

Japan is all about technology, I thinks it's fair to say this chart speaks volumes about the quality of these two operating systems, and possibly also the software and hardware provided for each

most of my Japanese porn games are Flash

No they are fucking not. They still sell DVD players and still use CRTs. Go look up the percentages of people who use flip phones

>Japan is all about technology

Will this meme ever die? Japan is so far behind in everything IT related it's not even funny anymore. It's common to see people using pre-2010 computers with Vista installed. They still use fax for fucks sake.

>Japan is all about technology
This is a meme. Japanese businesses still use fax machines.

30 year old boomers still buy their kids frozen on dvd in the US

>meanwhile in the united states

>2016
can we have not dinosaur statistics please?

lmao what the fug

you probably look like a fucking retard no matter where you go desu

Some retailers don't bother updating card systems cause America

based

>Japan is all about technology
lol no, fax machines are still commonly used in Japan.

I'm not American so this doesn't apply to me. Sorry weeb.

You can't deny that the US is the global leader of tech

Not that guy but while the US is the leader in tech companies, the US financial industry is far behind the rest of the world. US adopted chip cards 10 years late and even when they did adopt them rather than using chip + pin like everywhere else in the world they use chip + easily forgeable signature because apparently US consumers are just too stupid to remember a pin despite them already doing that at their bank. US medical industry is also far behind the norm in first world, fax is regularly used there despite it being shit in the internet age.

Sig is just a formality, my gf lets me use her card all the time, just sign my own name or an 'X', nobody bats an eye, nobody even gets a call. Same if she uses my card. Chips are pretty gay tho, I just swipe my watch for android pay at the Walgreens, home depot, ot basically any specialty brick and mortar store I go to. Only holes in the wall or niggerheap superstores don't provide tap to pay options.

When will this meme die? I live in the US and not once have I not been able to use my chip.

That's why it's shit, the entire idea because card security is the only the person who actually owns the account can use it. Anyone can swipe your wallet and have access to your accounts because they can just scribble on the reader and get approved.

Makes sense, actually.

really flares them pistachios

>Actually shilling for one of these two companies
I’m just waiting for the fucking NordVPN faggot to chime in on this thread.

I don't understand this myself. Why even picking sides? Both are trash. Why is everyone emotionally investing in things they use?

You don't shop at Costco or Sam's club. Both have them.

But user...
My chip works at Sam's too.

Japs are pretty vain so of course they would choose the more expensive product.

japan is not at all about technology; they are stuck in the 90s. i needed to use a fax for any documents and my last company. now i live in china.

Saying Japan is all about technology is the same as saying Russia is all about communism. It might have been true at some point but saying it nowadays is just rubbing salt on wounds.

In my company we scan and print documents instead of faxing them but I imagine just using the fax machine would make things a lot more easier

And because contracts are everything in Japan.

Japs are brandwhores. Nothing wrong with that tho.

Who gives a fuck? You get your money right back

They unironically still use fax machines. Apple OSs have a nice user experience though, at least until you have to update

Do you live in an area where pretty much is a chain store or restaurant? I've run into a lot of places with blocked-off chip readers like , but they're always small business stores or restaurants. My guess is that it costs more to run chips than swipes for some reason.

Unironically, most of the world tech and heavy industry is owned by Japanese.

Lmao you have to sign if u use a card in america?

Yeah using a slower and lower quality method that requires dialing a fucking phone number is much easier than putting your documents in a tray and hitting scan.

Why are you so full of shit? When I went there all their stuff was old, even computer parts and most of them were overpriced. $20 120mm computer fans that were local brands

Japan is a first world country, the USA is not. Now what?

Nope. Even the small businesses support it, along with NFC payment. Have no idea what places haven't implemented the chip yet. I can't remember swiping my card once since like 2014.

>nips, gooks and chinks wants to be white. News at 11

Have you people never worked in an office? Fax machines are still used everywhere.
