I've got a hammond organ but not because its old.
old technology tends to suck or else it would still be in use. the average lawnmower starts up better than my hammond organ.
... OP
just stop
Is this the new boomer thread?
*crack*
>Windows XP
Now that.... was an operating system.
*sips*
They don't make it any more.
also Hammond organs just arent popular anymore no matter how well they work. Some tech gets discontinued because something better replaces it , some just fall out of style
i got a sony PVM because i fell for the /vr/ meme
Holy shit, that TV. The electron beam just shoots right out of that hole?
three CRT tubes point at a mirror on the inside of the panel and bounce up to the main projector screen
this looks ridiculously inefficient and poor quality
nice voomer tech
System V... they just don't make 'em like that no more boys
I mean that are eseentially projectors in a fancy box. At the time it was nice because of the small footprint of the TV for the screen size. A regular TV unit for 32" back in 1982 woulve been massive
Oh, it opens up. It's just a CRT projector then? I.e., it's colored light that comes out of the projector lenses, not a high energy beam of electrons.
This is pretty much like all those big screen TVs that were around in the 90's and early 2000s, except the CRTs are in a different orientation. It's also from the early 80's so it is only in standard definition.
there was also rear projection which was popular in the 90s once front projection was too bulky and cumbersome,
we had one of these in the mid 90s
>weight
lol
boomer bump
Pretty sure my grandma had that exact organ. My goodness, she could play the dickens out of it whenever we all had a sing song.
thr FM is pretty primative but you could still have fun with it
youtube.com
also my grandmas tv
The Zenith Space Command was a fun TV, though this one had a weird issue where the volume was at 100% when plugged in from power loss. Picture was pretty good and it has that wood cabinet frame
