Well it's partially true though
>Seems to be dead anywhere shopping is possible.

You're living in the past, troll.

I use one of their old high end gpus that was included with the Dell XPS I got from my buddy

Wow, gamers are into memes

I've been using steam for years and only once they offered me to be part of the hardware survey
I have an AMD processor

This happens sometimes. Most of their AMD graphics cards just randomly disappears from the store. They sell out everything they have and don't order new ones. Right now there are hardly any Rx 500 cards left in their store. Mostly just Vega and professional cards left.

It's because of chinks. The entire country uses quad core Intel, midrange Nvidia, and Windows 7.

Judging from the Ghz of those Intel chips, a very large percentage of them are laptop CPUs - and when it comes to laptops, you're probably right that not much has changed yet.

its way too easy to bait this board holy shit, just dont reply to these threads assholes

tfw AMD is seen as bad by everyday in my country even the "educated" people. As a result nobody sells AMD anything. No CPU and no GPU. Had to special order my AMD laptop and it takes 2 months to arrive

>dead
the word you're looking for is "sold out", OP.

CPU sales are increasing thanks to Ryzen delivering. GPU sales are stable at best because of Vega not delivering in the high end.

Because its sold out? I currently post from my AMD machine, 1700+480.

Which country? AMD still has a bad reputation because the FX were so shitty. But they gain market share.

South Africa. There is not a single store selling AMD anything. CPU is always Intel and GPU is always Nvidia. Your average and online stores don't sell laptops or prebuilts with AMD CPU or GPU. AMD parts have limited selection and are sold at a premium. A 8700k is cheaper then a 2700X
I agree its got to do with FX reputation and AMD only selling in bottom barrel laptops.

You can also check resolutions, and 1366x768 has a massive share

There are barely any AMD laptops nowadays. I wonder why AMD is more expensive there. Probably a niche market like Australia. Their prices are more expensive than European or Canadian ones.
>TFW we pay dollar prices in Euros
>TFW paid 879 for my 1080 Ti on launch
>Amerifags still whine about it being so "expensive"

Nope, that's why shit is sold out all over and quadruple it's price for GPUs

Have you been asleep? What the fuck?

Sounds to me like chinks have higher IQs and are less susceptible to meme marketing.

do you cool it by furiously blowing on it between shitposts ? what the fuck is that temp?

Attached: 1.jpg (540x540, 25K)

why are your drives running so hot?

Substract 27°C.

>TFW paid 879 for my 1080 Ti on launch
That's the cost of a 1070 in my backwater neck of the woods.

That's your ambient temp? You are aware that guidelines already take an ambient of 23C into account, so you should only subtract 4. And that's while evaluating your coolers efficiency - CPU doesn't care that it's running hotter because of your elevated room temp.

I'm not the owner of that rig, but I do know that threadrippers report 27 Celsius over their reading. I thought that was already common knowledge around these parts?

Pretty sure most motherboards have patched their firmware for that, could be wrong though.

it's the software that shows the temperature reading that has to patch it
