I want to try the hifiman sundara out, seen nothing but good reviews of them so far.

As much as I want to try out the other HiFiMAN products, I wouldn't bother because of the QC, I bought the HE-500 because I deal with with the frame falling apart, but driver failures which seem to be prevalent in their newer models are just a no go for me.

You can always return them, or replace them under warranty. There's literally no reason not to try different headphones out to see what you like best unless you're so poor you can't even afford a shipping label.

>dat feel when HE-1000 has exactly that relaxed sound signature I’ve been looking for years, but it costs more than apex-quality electrostats and has atrocious QC
Chifiman pls

Is it okay to listen to music on Spotify premium? I honestly don’t feel like torrenting shit

320 kbps is fine. Anything below that and you'll notice a difference. But if it doesn't matter to you then it doesn't matter.

It's 320kbps which is transparent, so yes, it's fine.
