Void = 540 packages

Solus, 678 packages

Antergos, 797 packages

Arch, 1053 packages

I had been using it with fucking gnome and it was like 800 packages lol
dude don't fall for the package meme (if it can be called one), the same set of applications on arch can be less than in gentoo, debian looks more bloated than arch because it separates packages in more packages, so it doesn't matter. Check how many files do you have on your drive retard

Why do so many of you idiots believe package count has anything to do with bloat?

Arch with XFCE: 1105

I only use Linux for a raspberry to hear music
Can somebody explains me why less packages is good?

These numbers really dont mean anything distro-to-distro, and even on the same distro, they would really only indicate if someone has a preference for a minimal window manager setup or a full-fledged desktop setup.

base install? ive installed some software you know

Under 1000 is what I consider to be good.

It isn't, it doesn't matter at all.

Mental illness

arch, 1017

To do useful shit you need packages, so the useless neets on g compete on having as few as possible since it acts as a good proxy for not getting shit done.
