No, baseband flaws will never be fixed

not even in 2016 was it a god phone.

I'm still using mine. 4 years and the battery is bad, slightly above 50% of initial capacity. But after replacing it it's ok. It also depends on what will you use it for. I use mine for Spotify, calls, some Chrome, Discord, Clover and it's alright. Anything more would be really pushing it and I would not recommend it.

Battery life and overall performance is excellent with LOS 14.1

With a custom ROM sure.

Moto z play is everything nexus should've been

Yes, but why? Buy a chink phone.

2300mAh

get a 6P or 5X, if you have to get a nexus for some reasons.

Not really. Storage is extremely slow. Not enough RAM for medium to heavy usage - apps are killed off real quick. Tiny battery. Bad camera. No SD card expansion.
I've been using mine since it came out, and it's definitely showing its age now. I've used it so much I've killed a battery, and I'm about to kill the replacement.

No official Android P
No official security updates after Novermber

I still use mine. Original battery. Power button still works, no boot loops. Running LineageOS 14.1. Hopefully they figure out how to fix the bluetooth calls bug so we can get 15.1.

It's pretty awesome to have monitor mode with Nexmon firmware. That's the only reason I am not getting rid of this amazing phone.

Depends on how much will (did) you pay for it.

acceptable to whom?
just do what you want in your life you beta faggot

I haven't got a security patch on my Nexus 5 since 2016

LOS is well optimized. It makes the battery life not as shit as stock settings.

I wish. I miss mine but using it in 2017 I feel sleazy

no, it sucked when it came out

It really just depends on what you're going to use it for.

No. Good luck even trying to find a working one that hasn't been bootlooping.

If you are going to use it consider crippling Google Play Services so less ram is used by it.

The Apple iPhone 5S still receives official and security updates.
