it's pretty nice, desu--the contrast between the monochrome bg, cold-color terminal and the taskbar is kinda comfy.
i'm more biased towards the lysurfer, though. from what i got, you use the same design approach, but with a bit more minimalism, somewhat primarily with the blue numix theme and the whole pure-dark background. it's nifty stuff.

It's laziness probably picked up from black people. In my experience, and I know quite a few blacks, they tend to say axe instead of ask and dextop instead of desktop. It's a mixture of laziness and ignorance, like people who say "pacific" instead of "specific".

I'm amazing that someone has picked up on that at all or remembers. I use the same design approach on all my machines, you're right, with only very slight differences. Actually the background on lysurfer is that attached, but one can't see it with the terminal window in front. Thanks for actually noticing though. I feel kind of appreciated.

it's a genuinely nice set of desktops that found their style and theme while trying to not stem away from it too much--and settling on a rice shows that you've found something you're comfortable with and that you can't give a rat's ass to rice it further when it's already good as-is.
personally, i'd say that's a quality.

i personally do it manually which isn't that hard (or is, depending on number of windows) but i *think* you can fiddle with xfwm's keyboard controls to sorta get them bunched in one spot tightly. not completely sure, though--i only know of the default arrow-movement control, although that moves them by some ten or fifteen pixels.
