Simple gallery is riddled with bugs, I have to report them all the fucking time. Just take a look at the github issues page. Also, it has problem with some HDR pictures and slows everything to a crawl, even on a fucking S7.

Blackplayer - a music player that's simple and has a dark theme. It's a billion times better than the shit one that Google has as the default on stock android.

Asti Media Player: - a video/audio player that allows you to have videos playing in the background even with the screen off (so you can listen to the audio from a video or whatever).

Joy Recorder - A simple audio recorder, uses the device's mic. I think you can also use it to add effects to your recordings but I've never done that.

ColorNote - A simple note-taking application, looks and functions similar to the old note app on Samsung phones.
