youtu.be/focyjBXI2gE Didn’t Scythe used to make the best CPU coolers?

They still do. /thread

That cooler looks retarded.

dumb logo, barely anyone carried their stuff

Wonder how much blood Ive spilled installing the Mugen...
Nice cooler but damn, literally 100 sharp aluminum fins.

They still do, they just don't sell them to mutts

They're alright, they were never the best or the worst. Japanese design is a meme.

They are loud as fuck, there are mostly better offerings from thermalright like the macho

How do people cut themselves on CPU coolers so often? I don't understand.

>dumb logo
What a shitty reason to hate a company.

yeah, then the 212 came

Thermalright barely sells in the US though

Because us retards buy 30$ cooler master

>wasting money on aftermarket coolers

What happened with Thermalright? i use to have a XP-90 and it was fucking awesome, probably better than most heatsinks nowadays.

>using Incel's absolute dogshit stock cooler

I think over time with all the fan removals and whatnot bent some of the fins. Made them sharp as hell.
Still using my old Mugen 2 Rev.B on an 955BE.

Good review, I like his stuff

Their 140mm fans with 120mm mounting holes are great

Except that one, that one is okay to hate

Because 212 is just too good for its price.

Its just a bit better then stock

nofan destroyed them with korean engineering

The 212 is trash though

No they don't.

Not with Intel stock though.

Scythe ninja was fucking GOAT, way ahead of its time,.

I'm using this on an i5 2500k. I don't know why people do dumb shit like spend $70 on a noctua when this $38 cooler shits on EVERYTHING. Even the fan that comes with it is fluid bearring.

Well that's kind of an unfair comparison

this, there's not enough RGB

Please, not this bullshit meme again. It shits all over stock, yes, even AMD's spire shit.

With a macho you can actually oc and be silent though

nothing? still popular in europe

Are you done now, or do you need more shekels?

I still use a Mugen 2 for FX-8150. I replaced fans to thermalright ones because muh 14cm.

>How do people cut themselves on CPU coolers so often? I don't understand.
You should try pushing down the shitty intel pushpins underneath a sharp, 12cm wide, 4cm high big shuriken.

Is this Jow Forums's hottest new meme?
>A stock 4690k will throttle with it.
Unless you absolutely cannot have a single fan, even something like a Le Grand Macho with a

>literal tramp stamp

And of course I forgot the pic

>Still using my old Mugen 2 Rev.B on an 955BE.
mah nigga

What the fuck dude.

Scythe are still a thing outside the fuckstates. I don't believe they ever broke through in the US.

Scythe are not some Katana-permium company, they're a good budget company. I've still got a scythe cooler installed on my old Phenom II system, works great, was cheap t acquire, and i got a lot of heat room for overclocking, which i did when i used that setup for gaming.

Still using the Mugen 2 rev B on my 1090t. It truly is awesome.

bull fucking shit, I've been running an old amd setup with a scythe in it for nearly 10 years in my living room, you can't hear it all fucking hum from the tv is louder. of course i did lube the fan after 7 years or something .

BOSS mode cooler.
I have it too, but the fan failed sadly. Passive cooling still works fine.

>Didn’t Scythe used to make the best CPU coolers?
No, never.

>What Happened
Fukushima. The radiation increases temps, so the competition became better in direct comparison.

t. 30 year old boomer with hear loss

yeah so i wouldn't be able to hear the hum that is louder then huh? retard.

>pic related
