Gmail: Jewgle Outlook: Micro$hit Protonmail: Routed through an Israeli server (protonmail.com /support /knowledge-base /protonmail-israel-radware /) cock.li: meme site that'll shut down in a few years mail.com: ?
Thinking of using mail.com for a while, eventually switching to a home server. Ruin it for me, Jow Forums.

Fuck off with your fake shit. The Protonmail article clearly shows with evidence why it's NOT routed through Israel.
August 19, 2018 - 13:40
What's wrong with Israel? They are a leader in the field of cybersecurity. They aren't likely to bungle something.
August 19, 2018 - 13:43
Use tutanota and stop with this shit.
August 19, 2018 - 13:53
dovecot + postfix also spend less time on Jow Forums
August 19, 2018 - 14:05
cock li managed to exist for 5 years already, i'm sure it'll be fine
August 19, 2018 - 14:07
cock li hands user data over to the feds regularly (mail, IP, etc.), I would use tutanota or protonmail before even think of touching cockli

Fuck off. S o y is a perfectly healthy milk substitute that is ethical (no animals abused to make it). I have food allergies so I have to drink it.

August 19, 2018 - 16:15
mail.com is literally adware. they don't ask for your phone, though. i guess you could use it with a client like sylpheed or something.
August 19, 2018 - 16:36
I use it as my professional email.
August 19, 2018 - 16:39
Use any email provider and just encrypt your emails with PGP.
August 19, 2018 - 16:40

>Protonmail Is there even a point to this if the person you're in contact with is using the Google or Microsoft botnets? Then they can access the contents anyway, no?
Serious question. I have no idea how encryption works in practice.
August 19, 2018 - 21:00
True, my theory on this is use a privacy email to stop feeding into the botnet as much as possible. You can always send an encrypted email to someone on Google and give them a password to open in a remote session of tutanota.
August 19, 2018 - 21:10
Yes there's a point to it. One, it stores all of your emails encrypted (and protected by strict Swiss privacy laws), and two you can send encrypted emails to people on any service, and three, any protonmail-to-protonmail communication never even leave the server.
August 19, 2018 - 21:29
Swiss privacy laws only apply to Swiss citizens
