X299 - 22core

>Intel’s Flagship Coffee Lake-S 8 Core CPUs Arriving in September on Z390 Refresh Platform – Skylake-X Here To Stay, Will Get 22 Core CPU Update This Year

Is anyone else excited?

I have a 7900x and love this CPU. Bumped the base clock a little so it's not a house fire, and it chugs along nicely. 22 core would be great.

The core race has just started, I think I'll wait for it to die down before jumping on one. In 3 years it looks like we'll be at 64 core for AMD and around 48 for Intel.
I would kill myself if I was one of those poor saps that bought an 8700K.

Well I got into X299 cuz Gayripper wasn't out and I went from 6700k to a 7900x. Had no idea AMD would light a fire under Intels Jewish ass.

I have a pretty high end board with good VRM headpipes, I just hope Jewtel keeps supporting X299 like it did X99 for a while.

>22core
INTO THE TRASH IT GOES

INTEL ABORTED GARBAGE DOA FOREVER

AyyyMD nigger posting nonsense yet again.

Intel has better IPC and X299 OC's better anyway.

INTLEL SHILL DEFENDING DEFECTIVE ABORTED GARBAGE BTFOREVER

If i was an Intel Corporation shill I would be, yes. But since I'm just a consumer, who disregards overpriced two 5 years old tech re-branded as new, I am not.

Right, so Coffee Lake exists right now with the Z370 chipset. So what the FUCK is this Z390 nonsense I keep hearing about? Is it literally just to support the upcoming 4-core and 8-core coffee lake processors? Why do you need a whole new socket for the same damn architecture? I mean... That can't be the case, right? It has to be the same socket... Right? In which case, what the hell is the point of releasing Z390 when Z370 exists? What the hell is the difference? Are they just trying to release a chipset above Zx70 for the first time

Intlel retarded garbage defective products belong in the trash, more at 11.

Avoid intel products, they're defective trash.

>1080p
>gaymen

Go fuck yourself.

I don't gayme you dumb faggot, I do work all day.

Also I'm not paying $500 lgbt mobo + Shitripper...instead I'll just pop in a new 22 core and be done with it.

Z390 just has a new chipset that has built in Wifi and USB-C.

9900K will work with a Z390.

Also some fags here and there have gotten Z270/Z170 working with an 8700k...

Yeah if you enjoy inferior garbage products sure buy shitel.

So the Z370 is literal trash, and finished. Fuck intel fucking cock suckers.

>9900K will work with a Z390.
Err I meant it will work with a Z370, no need for a new mobo. But make sure you have good VRM heatpipes.

>I would kill myself if I was one of those poor saps that bought an 8700K.

Intel’s upcoming 9000-series CPUs will work with existing platforms. All I9 will work on a Z370 motherboard.

umad?

I told you you dumb neckbeard, Im not putting down another $500 for a mobo when I have a great mobo already (Designare EX).

X299 is not inferior, IPC performance is ridiculously fast.

No, why? If you have a Z370 just get a 9900K and upgrade. That easy.

Trying to nickel and dime to get the latest and greatest is really retarded anyway. You're a poorfag, stay one and don't pretend you aren't one.

>No, why? If you have a Z370

Why the fuck was intel saying Z370 mobos cant draw enough power for 8-9 core cpus? hence the new chip-set / mobo?

fuck they are such lying cunts

They're right, to a certain extent.

Some mobos on Z370 have terrible VRM draws, so if you have a higher end Z370 like an Assus ROG LGBT board you'll be fine.

How can you not expect a 8 core cpu to draw more power than a 6 core cpu during peak usage? Don't look at the TDP only.

Will a Asus PRIME Z370-A work for a 9900k?

Attached: 1531755816325.png (817x443, 34K)

Yes you'll be fine.

I believe Asus already released a BIOS update to support 9th gen CPUs.

Intel has almost core2duo IPC now because of Spectre, you're defending defective garbage products.

How in the actual fuck you are in Jow Forums and didnt know about Ryzen? Holy shit

Irrelevant if you're not running a critical datacentre

Who gives a fuck about your spectre bullshit nigger.

Threadripper wasn't out by then idiot, I needed a HEDT class CPU.

I just ignored AMD posts because for the last 6 years, it was just constant "just wait™ Intel is finished"

>Security doesn't matter
Pottery

I got nothing to hide, idiot.

Come look at my wojak memes folder I don't give a shit.

1800x and 2700x are HEDT. You retard.

What makes 7900x hedt class? How is ryzen1 worse?

Nevermind, I confused it with 7800x. I guess it made sense at the time
