It's a good laptop, should be able to handle about everything you throw at it aside from gaming. Hopefully you got the 1440p panel.

Same. Had an X220 as my main computer for a few years. Using it for more modern standard tasks became annoying. Large files become difficult to run. It became noticeably inefficient and slow. The display is rubbish, too. Upgrade to XPS 13 dev was the best decision I made.
