I still use it. I don't know if there's anything better, but it's good enough that I don't feel the need to hunt down anything else yet.
InfarnView
It's got the best viewing controls as far as I can tell. The gif frame stepper is especially useful.
Has all the basic stuff ms paint has plus more.
I'm fine with honeyview.
Gamers and a good part of the average population use it still. Cheaper than a Mac, less complicated than a linux and it can run games, what's not to like you know

Nomacs is the only decent image viewer for Windows. If you use anything else then you're literally a subhuman tard.
You seem to have suffered from a stroke.
I'm not feeling to good user
Just downloaded and tried out, I like it. Thaniks

has someone tried seeing if it works on wine on linux?
Back when I used Windows I liked jpegview.
Yes, there is something better now.
GNU/Linux.
ImageGlass
>*takes a million years to load thumbnails
Haven't found anything faster and simpler than jpegview yet.
The download link on the main website was down for a long time, decided to use nomacs and it's nice but has some problems with borderless viewing.
I was using nomacs before I got my PC cleaned from Windows.
I haven't had issues downloading it from the website, but you can get it from the github too, not sure if it has borderless viewing though.
JPEGView.
