Kill yourself.

erlang has a small niche but it is legit.

**PHP**

erlang is based are you actually fucking retarded

You're completely ignorant. Next time make a valid argument, instead of an unsupported meme statement.

This is /g not /b

I hate smug muslims.

if you hate functional languages you are just a brainlet thus your opinion is irrelevant.
sage.

Name one real piece of software that anyone uses that was written in Erlang you fucking hipsters. You can't because its only purpose isn't to write meaningful productive code, it's to dick around with fizzbuzz hello world programs ad infinitum to learn "different ways of thinking."

Stop pajeet posting you pajeet

>erlang
>useless
Pick only one

Erlang is a highly specialized language that's great at what it does. It's not a general purpose language that should be used for everything, but only a retard thinks that any one language should be used for everything. You wouldn't use C/C++ to write a quick Windows desktop app that you could shit out in 3 minutes in C#.

In any case, a useless programming language would be one that has extremely limited support libraries. Nobody wants to write shit from scratch every time they do a project, and some shit isn't even practical to write from scratch unless you just happen to be a specialist in that field.

You do realize that it's named after it's original use, high performance, distributed cell phone networks.

Yeah enjoy your ((meaningful)) code while the big boys handle 5G.

That isn't an excuse to be retarded

A lot of them because I work in a hospital but this one looks healthy to me

Based and redpilled.

Pretty much entire Ericsson networking stack. Software running in those signal masts and routing centers.

Just because it powered your post doesn't mean it's completely useless.

Why do autismal full stack webshits get so anally annihilated when I inform them of how worthless they are?

I've never understood these at all. Just teach basic Python or something from the start. It's not more difficult and you can actually take that home and fuck around with it on your own.

Does that mean batch is useless because both batch and bash are really useful for scripting (and lua)

If they taught that then all those college graduates might actually get real jobs. Then who will pour coffee at Starcucks?

So, Common Lisp wins.

RPG was a commercial programming language back in the '60s and the '70s (before your daddies were born) which I used, and can attest to its utter worthlessness.

Weapons belong somewhere else not here

RPG is still used for companies that are too far entrenched into IBM for decades to move off of it. But it does work pretty well for business logic, if it's kept updated and modern (which at least 1 of the old guys won't do, all the others love modernization though)

There are only two kinds of languages. There are are languages we complain about and languages we don't use.

is alice useless?

erlang is based but it has the worst error messages I've ever seen
