So did anyone preorder?

yeah, but now I have to wait. Can I pay another $1000 to get it sooner?

nah but I bought a 1080ti on sale so

You missed the "RTX Off" graphic. I don't see the reflections of the monies in the pot.

Yeah man. It's 2 times the 1080 Ti. It's an investment in it self that will pay off by the time next gen comes out

Wasn't running at 60fps had to reduce gigarays.

I spent all my money on buyfagging so no

Horo can't help you raytrace your games.

my wife's boyfriend pre-ordered this for me. I can't wait to play overwatch on this bad boy.

I prefer Ray Dion due to open source drivers.

If only he was as strong as a 2080ti.

Pre-ordering is for people who like Tom's Hardware's jew cock.

neither can novideo

RTX can.

No, 33fps isnt enough for me.

not an Nvidia shill but that developer has a record of making shitty optimised games.

no lol

Sure it can. And so can PowerVR 2 years ago.

>pre-ordering anything ever
Thanks for beta-testing, goy.

>implying pre-ordering is the same as beta-testing
dumbass

that's not a game though you rbrainlet

It's realtime, using Unity engine, so it could be.

>realtime

hardly, watch the video again and see the time it takes to render a single frame

it's still very impressive but not real time

Nah, I'm "vendor-locked" to freesync and 7nm Navi (even in the unlikely event it's no better than a 7nm die shrink of Vega) is still my goto.
Now, if nVidia supported freesync, I'd probably have ordered one already.

slut

That part was pure raytrace. The interactive demo they were running in Unity was a hybrid render, like what Nvidia is doing now. These guys were supposedly doing ~6 gigarays/s on their experimental phone GPU.

Likely better at Ray Tracing than RTX, oddly enough.
It's the ONE thing Vega can actually do, the *only* new feature of VEGA (compared to Polaris/Tonga) that actually worked was RapidPackedMath, which is perfect for raytracing.
Moreover EVERY shader can be used for it on vega, not just the Tensor cores like nVidia.

RTX2080Ti only has 544 Tensor cores (+ 4352 CUDA cores)
Vega64 has 4096 cores, all 4096 of which can be used for RapidPackedMath, let say we 'partition' the Vega64 into 3072 shaders for general purpose render and 1024 for RapidPackedMath, AMD will be faster at (/ have less of an impact on framerate) raytracing than even RTX.

Of course, if you partitioned the Vega64 like that, even if the Raytracing has less impact, the 2080Ti will still obliterate Vega, since it's now 4352 CUDA cores @1.4ghz vs 3072 Vega shaders @ 1.4ghz

That's neat.
The guy presenting needs to get some sleep, that is embarrassing

It literally is. Once you report all the issues I'll get it.
