The more accurate question would be "what is the least bad browser".

Reminder all software sucks

>chrome as arogant sjw
>actually quite accurate
God damn. Stop making IE look good

Firefox

>fast
>secure
>private
>lightweight
>customizable
>modern

Compare that to Jewgle Schlome:
>fast (i'll give them this one, though FF is still faster)
>secure as i've heard, but only if you don't count google's backdoors as holes
>botnet
>bloated
>customizable as win 10
>shit UI, had to copy Firefox

Attached: ultimatewebbrowser.jpg (1024x768, 88K)

lynx > links

netsurf

firecocks is the sjw though
chrome is the one that's best at pretty much everything but acts like a cunt (spies on you) to make up for it

>>shit UI, had to copy Firefox
Did you look at Quantum lately?

I actually managed to do that in kwin because it freezes if the compositor is disabled by an opengl application with NVIDIA's proprietary driver.

>constantly spew muh botnet meme
>using chrome
The absolute state of Jow Forumsarbage

Out of the ones I use,
IceCat > Vivaldi > Webkit = Roccat > w3m > Falkon > Lynx > TenFourFox > Chromium

Waterfox or Brave.

How could anyone here switch to it when we all use GNU/Linux?

well, you could always run it on wine

wine has its own gecko-based "internet explorer".

iridium

>web browser
>Webkit
what he meant with this?

well, it is outdated for once
if I was switching to an outdated browser it will be Opera of the Presto era

Leopard webkit.

did anyone here tried otter browser?

Blatant botnet
>Google Chrome
>Opera
>WebDiscover
>Slimjet
>Mozilla Firefox
>Internet Explorer
>Waterfox

Less of a botnet
>Vivaldi
>Brave
>Pale Moon
>Iridium Browser
>GNU IceCat
>Falkon

Not botnet
>Otter Browser
>Qutebrowser

Friendly reminder you can find unsolicited requests with mitmproxy, wireshark, and burp suite. Iridium and Pale Moon can be fixed with work. If you care about your privacy not being a commodity, a browser that's open-source without spyware is hard to find.

or

Nobody actually uses internet explorer. It doesn't even support a decent adblocker and you're forced to use a host file.

Why are free browsers and proprietary browsers mixed in as "less of a botnet"?

>Falkon botnet
>Otter and Qute not botnet
how you came to this retarded conclusion?

this

Unsolicited requests and data being tracked.

No requests made, no data tracked, no processes logged.

In Falkon's case, it seems to be connecting to some unrelated sites on Windows but it's hard to prove what the purpose of it is. Worth testing yourself.

The one which uses most RAM.
More used RAM = faster browser. Therefore, best.
Because you wanna surf fast.

>on Windows
Why would you be using it on Windows? Use it with an OS that isn't a botnet.

I've tested some browsers, but that's something I've heard reported, not something I found myself. Hence worth testing, even on Linux.

It's firefox at this point in time
>inb4 botnet
It's open source, so just disable telemetry on install in about:config and you're free
>inb4 sjw
If you disbaled telemetry then they're not getting anything out of you so you're not supporting their bs, not like the devs have anything to do with mozilla pr anyways
>inb4 icecat and other forks
The official release will always be first to get security updates
Firefox in general gets security updated faster than chrome
I clearly remember them pushing patches the next day after spectre leaked

Besto navegador

They should all be tested on GNU/Linux to avoid the wangblows botnet interfering in the process.

What about TOR Browser?

How is Opera botnet?

CIA masked as loli with weed

Immediately requests your geolocation. When it redirects to the homepage, the page makes a number of other requests, including to google analytics, facebook, and yandex.ru - which gives you a uniquely identifying cookie. It makes requests to cxense.com, a company for customer data analytics, which also gives you a unique ID. You can't delete the search engines it downloads. Queries ocsp.comodoca.com. In checking for potential malware and phishing, it keeps records of your browsing history. It also connects to googletagmanager, requests to yandex including screen size. Opera is closed source and integrated with facebook. Requests with spped dial Opera partners include unique user IDs.

>open source
>hurr durr CIA
provide evidence for your claims

Not gonna lie my dude, I still use firefox and hate chrome, but one of the worst things about modern firefox is how they felt compelled to copy chrome's UI

It's the colours of the logo not a feminist fashion

I do feel guilty now for not using IE waifu.

should have written FBI
darkwebnews.com/anonymity-tools/tor/fbi-withold-tor-exploit/

looking familiar?

Attached: chromecopiesff.jpg (746x559, 51K)

Waterfox probably.
No datamining.
No ideological corruption.

>arse technica

I need more IE lewds

Attached: lewd_ie.jpg (706x1000, 145K)

This.
I used to use palemoon but the furry wanker started to get political and screwed the browser over several times.

Ungoogled Chromium.

What about edge?

>Firefox
>lightweight
Pick one

edge is modern at least

IE-chan is CUTE!

Attached: 529EC115-DC7D-4639-B1D3-D61422210461.jpg (605x486, 183K)

>no js support
can you post with this browser?

That's the only thing I can do, since you give me the same thing under both A and B.

OC of IE Chan shitting herself? Cause that's all she ever does.

literally made to take buckets of cum in her tight virgin pussy

Me, pretty nice except for the bad rendering.

Edge is breddy gud. Took MS over 10 years to get their heads out of their asses and support add-ons, but now that it has them including ublock origin and mouse gestures, there's not much difference between any of the browsers.

one day i wont be the only person who is using pic related

Join me on Vivaldi brother

she's already been raped by all those careless toolbar installs

I use both Waterfox and Vivaldi, you thoughts on both pls.

Attached: .png (770x441, 18K)

I'm gonna use her just to spite you

>Vivaldi
Unironically used it until I got lazy and switched back to Firefox. Would still recommend Vivaldi.

If someone seriously considers switching browser just because of an anime girl then its probably the best browser for them

sad but true. Even the best browser is still a bloated piece of shit. Web designers zre the ones to blame too

this image is an actual art piece

fpbp

How is waterfox better than normal FF or FF ESR?

sent from my waterfox browser

IE-tan only gets used by old businessman, her only chance of feeling needed

firefox is LITERALLY spyware though
>but muh open sores
it sends potentially identifiable calls to mozilla every time you make a tab

one of my old profs used to say "oh-pear-uh"

I don't know about it being literal spyware. But you are retarded for not knowing what can be done in about:config
Examples:
github.com/ghacksuserjs/ghacks-user.js/

It's on a source level, you can't just tick the 2 boxes

>source level
Post line(s) of code? The source code is available.

>USE ME!
Sorry, I don't want net-AIDS.

The actual chrome normalfaggot is scared of this post
he will never reply to you because he cant actually read code

Yandex

I've tried firefox, and holy shit the font rendering on Jow Forums is pure cancer. Far too bold, it looks blurry and makes my eyes hurt after 10 seconds. Everything else is fine, but I can't use that shit. Gonna try vivaldi

Pale Moon

It's comfy

does ie work with wine?

>we all use GNU/Linux?
The majority of Jow Forums are /v/ermin on Windows 10 or sojboys on macOS. Only like 10% actually use GNU/Linux

Yes, but it's better to use a VM since Wine may render winapi shit slightly differently than Windows, so you might see different rendering bugs.

>new design
that looks like a glitch. when you delete random files off a program's resources then they fail to load and a white background displays instead

>sjws like yo die their hair like idiots
>nah it's just logo colors!
it is both.

Firefox and chrome both are very sjw.

Of all the browsers I've tried, Opera is literally the best in every aspect, I can easily keep 800 tabs open and the browser remains as snappy as ever and it can play anything I throw at it. The worst are Palememe and Vivaldi, both are fucking laggy RAM hogs that don't even work properly in mainstream sites.

>chrome is portrayed as an sjw whore
nice.jpg

>Waterfox
Immediately connects to spyware services on first run, such as googleanalytics, geolocation services, and Mozilla. Makes 109 requests on startup. At the very least, it used to send page data to google's safebrowsing service. It has an outdated privacy policy. Connects to mozilla to share your browser version, operating system, language settings, and add-ons on startup. Spyware search engines by default. All notifications go through mozilla servers, including: subscriptions and unsubscriptions to allowing website notifications, number of notifications, timestamps, and source of notifications. It's integrated into firefox accounts, which allows sync of lots of sensitive information. Self-updating.

Waterfox is genuinely terrible.

>Vivaldi
Makes requests to google on startup. Connects every 24 hours with a user unique ID, with Piwik, analytics service. Spware search engines. Not fully open-source. "Addon updates" are carried out through chrome webstore whe you don't even have addons, which is for spying, they are uniquely identifying. Uses google safe browsing. Every user has a unique ID, connecting with https to Iceland servers every 24 hours. IPs could be logged, developers claim to drop the last octet. Can't be built from source.

Less bad for privacy imo, but just barely. Both are very poor choices if privacy is your priority.

Oh, and may I add, funnily enough Waterfox claims to be good for privacy but is the worse option of the two. Vivaldi developers I've heard just outright ignore privacy concerns.

I don't think it's bad

Hentai when ?

yeah, i installed it just to try it out back then and i still keep using it to this day

What do you personally use?

I thought we were past security holes porn?
