Just a heads up as some might not be aware:
Intel 6th gen is the last CPU supported by Micros$hit for critical/security updates.
Anything higher than that, even for Ryzen, you're forced to use either win10 or take the risk of having no critical/security updates on 8.1.

8.1 was made for fucking Atom tablets, for a Windows system it's really lightweight.
I had an old laptop with some thrash tier C2D, Intel GMA X3100 and 2 gigs of ram, 8.1 was BY FAR the fastest post-XP Windows you could put on it.
