yes best node . eternal sandy bridge proves it

Is there a new cpu in the current market which will be immortal like the i5 2500k or the Q6600? Thinking about upgrading

Ryzen 7 2700.
>8 cores
>16 threads
>ECC support
>high IPC
>high clock speeds
>soldered
>relatively low power usage
>relatively low heat output
That shit will EASILY last you a decade. I have a Lenovo G550 laptop from 2009. I still use it almost a decade later, even with its shitty dual core Pentium. I will either buy that 2700, or wait till next year to see those 7nm chips.

AMD 2600
Only 166$+government tip

And Westmere

Ryzen will be my next CPU, even if it's another two or three years until I upgrade.

i7 8700k

>14nm
>now THAT was a hell of a node
>dumb zoomers and their 14nm++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Can't decide if I want to spring for one of these or wait for 7nm desu
