i have a different outlook on this.
everyone will have children no matter what, sex and recreation is a very basic instinct, so basic that for a lot of people "having and then raising children" is the primary or secondary goal of their life.
in that case, i think, it would be best to have your own children, not worry about money or whatnot so much, and put in the best effort of being a good parent. children, obviously, aren't like plants, and raising good children isn't a set routine of action, but rather, you should do your best at observing them to make good judgement on your action. if you can handle that and are emotionally strong enough to deal with the troubles that come with children, then why not? certainly, a well raised kid will bring to the world far more than a badly raised one.
