None

Your own co-location hosted server-network with OpenVPN.

For streaming? Nord
For security? TunnelBear

Stop asking you dumb cunt. DYOR

This. Go to or use fucking google.

Nord is extremely shady ditch it while you can

hidemyass is pretty solid. hacked some bitch's email for the lulz, would've gone to pound-me-in-the-ass-prison but luckily hidemyass fell on their sword to protect customer privacy.

you do realize that the police and the government have the ability to track the IP a VPN is connected to right?

hidemyass has been exposed you brainlet

NordVPN

This is the only right answer.

Not being connected to the internet

this

it's a meme, you dip.
The idiot who hacked Sarah Palin's email years ago used hidemyass and got v&

found the PIA shill

Kek

When did we start calling something which is essentially a proxy a VPN?

Don't pay for a VPN they will just sell your bandwith to someone else.
restoreprivacy.com/lawsuit-names-nordvpn-tesonet/

Is it practical to use a Raspberry pi to host your own one?

That lawsuit is related to use their own app. What if you use OpenVPN to connect?

pivpn.io

lads, if i'm on fiber optic and use a VPN, can the ISP still see my shit?

my personal VPN I run at the company for all of our employees.

Buy a VPS and set it up with OpenVPN

ProtonVPN.

They can see you're connected to a VPN. Nothing beyond that unless for whatever reason there's no encryption between you and the VPN.

mullvad

Not op but this isn't something you should look up on google. Paid advertisement is everywhere in the search results.

I got my VPN through here. If I had used google it would had said ''PIA'' which we all know is bot central.

Anyone try this one? Seems kind of shady.

PIA is dead to me. Used it for a few years then found it connecting to a bunch of random ip s with unencrypted traffic and using my up bandwidth like crazy. Fuckers

Some do. That article is as shady as the mentioned corporations though.

>Seems kind of shady.
Same people behind ProtonMail running it. It's solid.

Botnet

ProtonVPN

how is mullvad a botnet?

torguard

youre welcome

mullvad, ovpn and ivpn are tier 1.

Not OP, but most of the options available with research involved shilled articles and idiots talking about what the best VPN to use with Netflix is.

if you use a vpn you end up on a government watch list because they think you're up to no good. I think getting a vpn is a good idea for when you want to connect to public wifi for security, but for home use I wouldn't bother.

Wireguard or tinc

You do understand the difference between the two, right?

These are just some /v/tards and normies

Do you know what a VPN is?

whichever VPN gives you the most unbanned ips to shitpost from
cause i know you're not stupid enough to think any VPN ensures privacy right OP?

Any good one under $50 yearly? I've been researching on my own for hours but i haven't been able to decide.
Azire and vpn ht seemed to be the best ones but neither have a kill switch.

Proof PIA is bot Central?

I keep seeing that suggestion, but how do you actually do it? I got a VPS recently for an unrelated reason, and would love to be able to use it as a VPN on the side, but I don't know shit about networking.
