Also faggot, the cable from Powerbank goes into Raspberry pi. There is only one cord going into the phone, duh? The second one is for headphones, because my Android in the background plays youtube.

Because using linux on raspberry pi and Android only as a display limits the amount of datasent to google.
Even if you install linux on top of Android, BT keyboard in VNC is unusable on android 7.0. Fucking alt-tab and right/middle clicks are baked into android rom and invoke android shortcuts. Why not laptop? Cause I can power this setup from a 30K powerbank for 45+ hours.

2. A phone can tether an Internet connection to Raspberry PI via USB. I don't have to buy a 3G modem for RPI

I bought 5'' display from waveshare and it's shit!
Use phones. RPI displays are low resolution garbage with bo backlight control.
With a phone you still have an HDMI port free.

I use my android phone when I have it in my pocket. I use RPI + phone when I need a linux desktop. You know I have a stand for the phone, right?

Nope. The phone is heavy enough to pull the cap to the front. You would still need to put some counterweight in the back of tour cap.

Android runs in background and Raspberry PI is controlled via VNC. If you manage to make alt-tab work in android VNC then you can pair the keyboard eith your phone and control both systems using keyboard. Now I operate Android with a finger and rpi with a keyboard.
