>TL;DR Got multiple working strings that grant access to a resource, how to reverse engineer the process that generated them So, I came into possession of some promo codes which -- upon filling out a form and giving (((them))) all your personal data -- generates a discount code for an online store. Given enough data in the form of promo codes, how would one go about reverse engineering the process which generates the keys (either promo or discount)? If ethical aspects should matter, I plan on giving them away because I myself don't have the best experience with said store. And no, I already gave the keys I own away. For me, it's really just about the conversion and figuring out how systems determine which codes they accept (kinda like encryption if you think about it). I already know that in the given case, the discount code is non-personal. I generated them with my fake identity and a throwaway e-mail and my friends could redeem them on their personal accounts. My idea is to redeem another one and go MITM on the connection while I'm doing it but maybe there are other ways which are also possible with enough codes.
Should I use the driver disc that came with my mobo or let W10 try and find them itself?

Would I be able to play Microsoft store games on win10 Enterprise? And the pastebin said LTSB wouldn't be able to play Microsoft games barring unofficial mods, are these types of mods common and easy to make?
I read an article about places like Google now only requiring a 2 year degree instead of 4 for the opportunity to be hired. Would you ever want to work there?

I took two classes for database management in college, just finished the second one and have been really liking this and want to improve and learn on my own time but I don’t know where to go from here. I learned about good database management and creation practices (when to normalize or denormalize, removing fan traps, etc.) and I also learned oracle sql(queries, nested queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, aggregate functions, joins, etc.), where do I go from here? Any suggestions? What should I teach myself or do to practice the things I’ve learned? All of it was in oracle database.

How do I host a file on an HTTP/HTTPS webserver? So I can send someone a website link that will point to the file and their browser will start downloading the file?

Out of the several free video editors available these days, which ones would be worth picking up to someone with previous experience using Sony Vegas? I was looking into either
>OpenShot >Shotcut >Da Vinci Resolve
Though I'm not sure if the latter is going to pull off any nagware business after a bit or something or if it's going to be overkill. I know the former two are FOSS but don't know capable they are.
pirate Sony Vegas if Linux, Kdenlive do not use Kdenlive on Windows OS

So, I just ordered this preamp.
>wanted to hook up guitar to computer and run Ubuntu studio on it to mess with the low latency kernel and try different daws for fun >I lost my rock smith cable and a new one costs like $40 >look up for alternative methods and find I can just hook my guitar into a preamp then the preamp into my computer via usb to record for the same price as the cable or less
Did I make a good choice for the same price as the usb cable? It should have better quality audio vs the rock smith cable correct?

How many returns can I make before Amazon gets pissy? How sparse should they be?
I'm a shitposter because I have experience with Behringer's garbage-tier products?
One thing you should consider is using Reverb instead of Amazon for finding audio-related gear (computer interfaces, instruments, etc). There is a lot of used stuff out there that's still in great condition that will get you what you need
What I've used for recording have been the Alesis Multimix mixers. I have both Firewire and USB versions in different capacities (8 channels, 12 channels). They've all been pretty versatile. If you're on a budget and really don't need more than a guitar input, I'd consider something like the Multimix 4, pic related. They might be ~$100 after shipping. The Firewire versions let you record each channel independently, but both will let you record the main stereo mix, which will do what you need.
Even if you don't go with Alesis at all, Behringer is known for shoddy quality. The only attractive part of them are the low prices. The gear looks nice in pictures and screenshots, but in person, it's almost always cheap plastic that doesn't last for long at all. I've had some guitar pedals and rack gear processors from them and they were simply not worth it.
I appreciate the feedback but I won't break the budget. I stated that I wanted to replay a $40 cable and found a decent $40 preamp that could offer me more. I don't mean to sound blunt or butt blasted but I don't want to go past what I would have spent anyways.
Also, you're the only person that I've read that has problems. The reviews I've read online or from general hear say have a positive attitude to behringer

Look up internet connection sharing. It's just something you have to turn on in your ethernet adaptor properties. If either computer has gigabit ethernet it'll work (common in the last 5 years), otherwise you need a "crossover" ethernet cable.

what is the default path to install scripts on MPV in windows? sites like the wiki and github only list the path for linux
You would get the one the mdl forums make. There's no point though. Just get regular enterprise and disable what you want through group policy settings. LTSB is a meme. It's only point is to get less updates, which also means no bug fixes.

Are those rechargeable "canless" canned air worth it if you don't use canned air frequently?
I kinda answered my own question. It increases bit depth for brightness and colors so TVs with higher gamut and peak luminance can display them without crushing/banding.

I posted this before but I bought a WD my book duo and it came with a problem where at the end of every largish file it was slow to a crawl and take forever to finish. I sent it back and they sent me a new one but it has the same fucking problem. I tried looking this up when I was troubleshooting the first one but saw barely any people talking about this issue. Am I retarded? Is this an actual design feature or is this terribly bad luck? Is it my computers fault? It's up to date and moderate to high powered, running windows 7.

So I noticed that Jow Forums started loading without CSS and checked uMatrix. Is it normal to have all this crap attempting to connect?
My internet has been dropping multiple times per day very briefly. I've been researching it a bit, and I've seen a lot of reports that the new electricity meters power companies are installing can interfere with wifi routers. I have several things I want to test in order to really narrow down the cause, and some possible solutions, but first I had one question that I wanted to get some more feedback on:
Will a box lined with several layers of aluminum foil placed over my meter effectively block signals to/from the device, or is there something better that I should be trying?
I've also read people saying to make a faraday cage out of aluminum screen, though a lot of people simply said enough layers of foil will get the same results. Either way, I can reuse the materials for the build, so it won't be a waste. I just want to make sure I'm getting the best results I can.

No. Jewgle is evil and should be avoided. The fact that they lowered their standards to accept people with associate degrees bodes to their desperateness. Also Moot $old out to go work there, never forget that he abandoned us.

what's the easiest way to go about automatically updating linux software that isn't in the package manager repository or github and only comes as a source or .deb file from the site?
let's say for example, the game Unreal World. It's a game I play occasionally but I don't check the site or community often. It has deb and source files on their page, but isn't a part of the apt repository.
I like the simplicity of just doing one command to update all installed software.

Nice trips! Knew this was coming, and yes I am considering it. Thought about before I even bought.

I think I want to try and tweak this since it will be for browsing and posting only. Still interested to look at LTSB which I have not really done yet.
I have just installed windows 7 ultimate SP1 on my PC. I instantly disabled the windows updates just in case as I was activating it. Should I leave it like that, or should I allow for it to update? I want to confirm if everything I need is available from the installation or if there is anything worth downloading in those updates. Thanks in advance, Jow Forums.
Disable the service too. Also disable Windows defender.
Download the C++ Packages. The DirectX files(Not the gimped Installer you find in the Microsoft site). Net framework 4.5.2. Chrome/Firefox with uBlock Origin. Daz loader to activate it.

thank you again!

Matthew Russell
fair enough. I guess I'll start digging around for the C++ and DirectX files. net framework I got the 4.7.2, is that somehow worse? chrome and activation are already done and deal with.
Its good, just that 99% of programs will ask for 4.5.2. The directX can be automatically installed if a game uses it on steam btw. The installer also comes with some games, like some Touhou games.
Ryan Wilson
neat! Guess that just leaves the C++ package, that shouldnt be too hard. thanks man.

Hey Jow Forums, is there any actual replacement for excel and word that can act on .doc or be saved as .doc so that normalfags won't judge me, that at the same time won't make me want to kill myself? or is that too much to ask? Alternatively, where can I find full pirated n cracked office?
I need a little help. when installing Arch, does it touch drives other than the installation drive? if i have data and another OS on another drive will it be safe? i assume so but i want to be safe

try renaming the video and turning off "download subtitles" if there is an option to do so the new name must be shorter, just some 3 letter shit should work, rename it properly later

Can anyone redbar me on those privacy screen filters? I have to use my laptop in a class for the first time at uni. They seem simple enough but the ones on Amazon go up to $50 and some are only about $15(presumably chinese knockoffs). Also they almost always block the viewing angle from the side, whereas im more concerned about people behind me. I kinda assumed the ones for laptops would be like the ones for phones.

A few little sugar ants are in my keyboard eating the crumbs out of it. Should I let them clean it out or should I put a stop to this?
They actually will do a good job of cleaning it and will eventually leave completely when they're done. They won't even leave feces behind since they're just carrying it away.

Jow Forums im trying to root this android and first of all, all "bad" apps wont install, and if they do install, they say "stopped" furthermore it keeps telling me theres no space left when i have plenty is there anyway to increase space using vmware? it doesnt seem to use a hard drive like normal so thats out and how do i upgrade it? should i jus wipe it and install a much more recent version of the OS? cant post image but made video my.mixtape.moe/jecnhe.webm before you ask, my dev NEEDS vmware to run the OS, not an emulator you might commonly use, and yes its VERY hard to get it running on vmware, but ive even installed to an extra desktop computer now since its part of my work. my.mixtape.moe/jecnhe.webm at the very least enjoy the video, free of charge :^)
