Probably Firefox. It's better than the Google botnet... barely.

>spyware.neocities.org

I personally love opera. So many small quality of life features that I can't live without anymore desu (for eg highlighting text will show a popup for search, copy and if an amount of money (£1.78 for eg) will automatically convert to preferred currency). And to me, it has a much nicer appearance compared to other browsers.

i use chromium browser. do not know if it's good

even more bloated than ff

brave

I wouldn't use anything written by Google. Chrome isn't even in the repos of most distros, anyway. I use w3m primarily.

>noscript + adblock

I hope you mean uMatrix and uBlock Origin.
NoScript's interface is so bad it's almost comedic.

firefox>chrome imo

much more customizable and more respecting to the end-user (to some degree)

TOR'S DA BEST

Stop posting your retarded website. I bet the website is spyware.

One is the most customizable and best open source browser ever.
The other is spyware software from Google.
Take a wild guess which one is better.

Ever since I decided to switch to Firefox:

>I have gotten better font rendering, and some actual font rendering settings
>Smooth scrolling can also be tweaked, though it seems to be slightly more laggy when you start scrolling
>Installed ublock origin and Jow Forums X and now with Jow Forums X I see the same stupid 3 ads at the bottom of the page no matter what, whereas in Chrome, same plugins, same Jow Forums X, there's no fucking ads
>An actual dark theme, but the scroll bar is the same as Windows so it's white, it's shitty
>Doesn't choke while scrolling through a website with video thumbnails or videos playing (like YouTube) or pictures (like this very website). Chrome always has that issue on my end.
>Sync is not as convenient as whatever Chrome uses
>User styles seem to apply instantly

>ads with 4chanx and ublock origin
You're doing something very wrong

>spyware.ur.mom

Firefox ESR so your browser isn't updating with new 'features' more often than Windows 10.

Firefox can open background images.
Chrome on its own can't do that yet for some reason.

firefox is free software while chrome is not. Why would I use software where the company tracks my every move and makes money off of me while I get $0?

Niggas the government owns our asses anyway. Why give a fuck if something is botnet or not? Life too short to give a fuck about shit like this, inconveniencing ourselves with meticulous to use software.

Firefox does that too though. And even if they didn't, your ISP absolutely tracks your online activities.

Lee get the copypasta

VPN

>what is about:config
And before you say
>b-but you cant disable everything
Show us the line(s) of code that does this.

That's right, just submit and make it easy. Even if you don't care about privacy I still prefer firefox for more user control.

Why is the captcha completely broken when it's not being loaded from chrome or incognito? Seriously this is getting out of hand, it just gave me the green check mark and then the crap board software said i ""mistyped"" three times in a row

only if you live in a shithole like America euro and aud isp are not allowed to do this and aud isp all have dynamic ip.

Firefox

Ungoogled Chromium

Ungoogled-chromium.

Chromium

you can't unjew yourself goy

what's it like having malware in 2018?

Attached: 1524075483410.jpg (512x384, 48K)

wew

Firefox with individual container tabs pinned and bookmarks next to the search bar.
Add-ons: uBlock Origin, Cookie Autodelete and privacy badger.
Telemetry off.
Good balance between usefulness and muh privacy.
Comfy browser for sure.

Attached: noice.png (897x76, 10K)

Privacy badger is useless if you know how to use uO and not just default settings.

I'm a brainlet though.
Although privacy badger has been sitting at 0-1 since I had it so that's that.
I'm willing to read if you throw some information my way.

The Google jews are probably worse than the Mozilla jews, but the Google jews have a faster browser

Chromium-vaapi because it's the only one that has hardware video acceleration on Linux.
Oh wait, Firefox because it's the only one that has autoscrolling on Linux.
Or fuck it, just use Windows and get the best experience.

I use uO in nightmare mode (blocking all scripts by default) and then no-op (click the middle to make it gray instead of red) the least amount of scripts I need for each site and then saving that setting. If you're a novice, medium mode is still really good to block 3rd party scripts and no-op only what you need (lots of trial and error when first starting out). But once you save your settings for future use it's definitely worth it.

Thanks I'll check it out right now before I put it into a "to do" bookmark folder and forget.

It's also worth noting that if you noop isn't enough (the content is still blocked) you will have to allow it (click the left side of the rectangle to make it green). This means none of your ad blocking or malware blocking filters are being applied though so do this as a last resort.

will test those custom filters

I just updated Firefox and now my favorite extension Favicons no longer works. What is the replacement?

Attached: blocks your path.jpg (1401x1274, 564K)

Never used it but try searching
addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?platform=linux&q=Favicon

>>I have gotten better font rendering, and some actual font rendering settings
Can you tell me how you achieved this? Mine is awful for some reason (61.0.2)

>no mention of pale moon

Firefox best by a landslide victory.

Why would anyone use that shit?

Attached: palecuck.png (413x174, 57K)

google steals my information but makes everything very convenient

firefox is less convenient but they say they don't steal my information. i do not believe them.

If you are a developer, Chrome because it will be closer to Safari & webviews rendering.

>porn of mascot
This.

>Chrome

Attached: proprietary.jpg (480x451, 57K)

with default settings enabled firefox does steal information.

firefox, solely for the fact that it won't fucking bother me to log in the moment i start it

>not choosing brave

Attached: Brave-Browser-Bitcoin.jpg (700x400, 58K)

>brave-browser-bitcoin.jpg
Brave shills are insufferable
And not choosing brave would be wise.

firefox + about:config + ublock origin on medium mode = all 99% of people need

BASED

Name one thing wrong with palemoon

What are these and what do they do? I just have adblock plus

>Chrome isn't even in the repos of most distros, anyway.

Chromium is, which is just chrome before proprietary "features&advertising stuff" is added.

>>Doesn't choke while scrolling through a website with video thumbnails or videos playing (like YouTube) or pictures (like this very website). Chrome always has that issue on my end.

People with high end hardware often completely miss little efficiency differences like that and can't really tell how optimized(or not optimized) the engine is.

It's not apparent on a high end workstation, but to shitty netbooks it's like trying to browse with a massive concussion.

Ask a search engine

>what is Chromium

Not what is in OPs picture which that user replied to.

>cant even watch videos on it anymore

Attached: smug.jpg (350x245, 25K)

Microsoft Edge is unironically the best Jow Forums client to have ever existed

Cmon user. I use windows and cant even use that browser.

FF

Attached: Craberooni_dab.gif (1000x743, 2.53M)

Dumbfuck.

lol, you're actually mad.

Memory hogging barebones in-your-face overly advertised centre spyware in-ur-face sorry excuse for a browser?

Attached: 1529224397195.jpg (590x639, 149K)

This but unironically. Scrolls smooth, loads fast and all relevant extensions are already available. Chromeshit gets too bloated now.

waterfox

Firefox on phone
Chrome on PC

I recently installed Edge to try it on my phone :)

Muh nigga

chrome is "fast" based on completely useless "psychometric" measures and not in practical terms.
palemoon, just by virtue of being lightweight, is faster in objective measurements

nobody wants to buy your shit coin, pajeet. Gtfo

why anyone uses firefox is beyond me, you guys probably have the latest i7 cpus to not notice all the cpu power this dog shit of a browser is using

No issues here on an i3 and i5 with latest Firefox. Sounds like it's on you're end.

not firefox

Firefox
More features, more customizable, better UX and UI, better engine for privacy/security

Brave is faster than Chromium

literally qutebrowser when it gets a better ublock origin style adblocking and extensions.

Is all the same fucking shit! Fuck off with this shit thread!

Sage

ublock origin blocks ads and scripts. you can block cookies and other fingerprinting in about:config. no need for anything else in 2018.

Query: when accessing shady porn sites using no script, how do you know which script controls the embedded vid player?

Ive been using no script for like a decade and i just have been guessing which script to enable, one by one.

Answer: don't watch videos in your browser. Use something like mpv+ytdl to stream. Videos look better, you are able to cache the whole video(and seems to cache faster), use other mpv options, and you don't have to allow a bunch of shady scripts.

Vivaldi or Ungoogled Chromium

Any browser better than just the Jew options?
