-Better task manager than 7
-Faster than 7 on newer low end PCs
-Boots faster even without hybrid boot
-Way more stable than Windows 10
-Doesn't try hard to replace every older component that doesn't need fixing (like the control panel, default programs settings or opening CMD on folders)
-Doesn't shove notifications down your throat about anything you do or don't do
-Doesn't force updates and works the same as 7 with them, can choose which to enable or disable

Its only fault is the start menu, which can be replaced in a minute.

There is nothing wrong with metro. All it does is flash on the screen and then immediately disappear when I start typing two letters and hit enter for the program I want.
Or just click on the big tile that I want.
8.1 breaks many things that made metro good as well. Like new installed programs don't auto's how up in metro start window thing, and search indexing sucks.
