>4GB GDDR5

Non modular PSU. I was too young to understand the dangers of having half my case filled with unused cables.

Besides being a rebrand of a 4770k it wasn't that bad. Now pic related was a total meme unless you had specific use cases. Fuck you Logan. You fooled me.

Maybe I just got a bad one, but I had to underclock it to 3GHz when I first got it because the temps were just ass. Even with a H60 cooler I bought, it still can't go above 4GHz or temps go to hell.

>IPS bleeds out the asshole

These uncomfortable tinny pieces of shit

>buying gaming branded anything
You deserve it. The professional Asus monitors are great.

I had the 901 model. Honestly saved my ass when main desktop went down while updating and spare was gutted for parts. I just plugged in monitor, m/k, ethernet and bam! It was slower sure but I was able to get back on teamspeak to tell gaming group I was down, find the info I needed for the error of the blue screen/reboots. I still have it to this day but it is in a box somewhere.

Delidding is pretty much a requirement for Intel CPUs beyond Sandy Bridge. The 4790k was supposed to be their improved TIM too.

Reluctantly crouched at the starting line,

>970
Still have that in my computer. Got $60 from the class action lawsuit a few weeks ago.

i5 8400

it stings

I still think maybe if id bought a voodoo3 instead they'd still be around, why did i have to buy a tnt 2.

Did these fuckers have a micro sata hard drive?

I've bought 4k 28". Never again.

Lack rack, sort of. Got the living room table instead of the end table.

Have a PE R720XD and an MD1220 in it. 4U, works well enough.

raspberry pi

a $3,600 3d tv.

Agreed. The 4790k was a unique gem, great in it's time.

I had a i5 4690 it was a awful CPU slow as balls outdated a year after I got it.
Least it ran cool and I sold it last year

>the only worthwhile cpu before coffeelake

I just want my FX6300 back.

The earliest models had an SSD, later ones just used normal laptop HDDs

can you take the shell off that and put it on a original one? that logo looks sick but I guess it would rub off in weeks like the old ones?

microATX mobo- has 2 fucking fan headers, one of which is the cpu, limited features
non modular psu- fucking cables everywhere, I'm going semi modular next time
case with 3 hdd, ssd and cd bays- who the fuck even wants those
to be frank it's my first build but I've learned my lesson

>"Meme"
Seems to be just popular hardware on Jow Forums.

Got a laptop with a blu-ray drive about 5 years ago. I don't think I've ever used it for a CD or DVD. I've never seen a Blu-Ray disc.

oh, i didnt mean to quote

Why are they making so many 27 4k monitors? And pricing them out the ass, shit is insane.

still try linux out once in a while, always feel so bad after.

970 one still makes me giggle, still had the same benchmarks scores and high reviews/ratings, until people found out it was 3.5 not 4 and everyone had a shitfit.

>crunchyroll videos runs at like 10 fps on linux, outright doesn't work on windblows
no bedtime chinese cartoons unless I use my phone then :^(

I like the one better where it has the piddly as AMD 64 at the WAY bottom.

I still think those 2k and 4k numbers are too small by at least 3 inches.

I'm rebuilding my fx6300/950 system this weekend, been sitting for a year since I built ryzen - felt like a waste so I decided to clean it up

>be younger and know fuckall about cpus
>pick this for my gaming rig because it was cheap as fuck and had decently high clocks
>get memed on

Attached: 1518350581785.jpg (640x480, 25K)

Probably just a bad one. I got mine to 4.7 at 1.28v. Been running like that for years without issue.

>AMD 8350
I feel for it so hard, I was a "Bulldozer is the future" faggot here.

Attached: 1533889775010.png (527x520, 288K)

I have a gtx 970 and an i5 8400 and i have no regerts

That's a big card.

same but whit the fx6300 still rocking it today and im not going to change until ZEN3 comes out

About 5 years ago I only had this old crappy desktop that wasn't worth upgrading and I had to get a laptop for school/work anyway (started a job in IT). Since I also wanted to enjoy muh vidya from time to time I thought it would be a good idea to buy a gaymin laptop.

>Bought an MSI GE70 Apache 2PC for around 1.000€ at the time
>Didn't perfom as well as I expected
>Ended up installing Ubuntu on it
>Sold it this year for like 500 bucks

I'm retarded.

Attached: five_pictures3_3072_20140220183046.png (1024x819, 467K)

that's not bad depreciation for a laptop actually

I brought a 6300 as a temporary CPU as my little cousin tried to be useful and overlocked my 8320 to like 5 GHz which fried it.

I brought it second hand for like £40, 6 months ago and i still use it. Have it paired with 8GB DDR3 and a 2GB RX 560. Once my new water cooler arrives for the 6300, I couldnt be happier.

ive had this mouse for a little over a year my only gripe with it is that i wish it had 1 or 2 more thumb buttons, everything else is great.

FX8350 is fine.

I am still running 970 coz poor. Can't play pubg at playable fps. Don't know who to blame. Pubg devs for being lazy or (((nvidia)))

this and the sony 7506 headphones

let me guess you are now hailing ryzen and it's multicore as the future?

I always used the a-series for streaming. It's godly at that

well look at the top chip its threadripper II
bulldozer never did anything like that
