is it just me or under windows in bootcamp bluetooth mice fucking sucks? I always have to delete and reconnect the mouse, and it has this weird tearing in cs go which isn't present when using my wired mouse.

Also, using mouse in macos makes no sense, the trackpad is superior in every way, except shooting games.

Bluetooth is a glitchy piece of shit.
Makes everything need to have its own power source and can be a hassle re-pairing after switching an item between connections. I tried 3 different distros on my thinkpad and none could connect by default to fucking mainline BOSE headphones.

That's because your computer has a built in bluetooth radio. The little bluetooth USB transceiver would just add that functionality if your PC did not already include it.

The RF mice he is referring to use a different piece of radio frequency spectrum than bluetooth and he outline the benefits of that. Additionally the receivers for those devices use a generic driver that allows them to just work without pairing or installing anything else.

I have multiple things to say about this.
1.) Even without the dongles, that's a shitload of cables and is going to look messy when they're all plugged in no matter what.
2.) HyperDrive. Same thing, but neater, cheaper and in one single vessel.
3.) I'm seeing dongles going into dongles. Someone just plugged in all the dongles they could for dramatic effect. Totally unnecessary.
