>linux still doesn't have a simple paint-like app

no I don't want to use your shitty buggy gimp that can't even make circles, microsoft has managed to include paint in windows for decades, why can't linux freetards do something similar?

>Still no decent Linux clone of Paint.NET
Don't fucking suggest that Paint.NET fork that uses the super old codebase, that's not an option.

Low-effort, user...very low-effort. At least this shitty bait-thread gave you an excuse to post your dumb TuxFrog image.

post more retard tux please!

Gimp and whatever the other one is called (starts with a K?) both launch in about the same amount of time so theres not really any demand.

>still can't draw a circle in GUMP

>linux still doesn't have a simple paint-like app
That would be Kolourpaint.

Attached: kolourpaint.png (400x400, 79K)

are you talking about pinta?

Tuxpaint

paint.net works just fine in wine, use that

I wonder if it can run in wine? Of so i can just give you the binary from my windows8 machine.

>pulls 1GB of KDE deps

this is what happens when workers democrtically make decisions on production themselves

not if you are already on KDE

Imagine using the meme OS and having to use commands to do absolute basic things. Sad!

There are tons of similar programs just as shitty as paint. Of course no distro would come with something as useless as paint, just install it yourself retard.

it would need a lot of .dll's

>linux still doesn't have a simple paint-like app
funny how clueless people spread lies like this
wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/list_of_applications#Raster_graphics_editors
KolourPaint is your mspaint clone.
Krita is a functional GIMP.

How can other graphical environments even compete with KDE?

this

sudo apt-get deez nuts faggot!

They can't, KDE is life

Damn, almost 5000 packages?

pinta

This!
Pinta is garbage.
I always switch to windows when needing Paint.net
Its a shame because Paint.net is freeware.

cute tux

I like pinta

On Fedora all dependencies + the actual Kolourpaint package are 34MiB total.

paint for winxp and earlier runs great in wine actually

Does Fedora ship with KDE installed?

lol

>have to manually enter resize params and add a white layer just to expand paintable canvas area
>only have to drag a corner in mspaint

Another day another linux hate thread. MS must have you guys working overtime.

Yes, if you use the KDE spin. The default is GNOME though.

It's just loonix users trolling each others my man

>he cant draw a circle in gimp

>Use inkscape with i3wm
>use ctrl z three times in a row
>isnkscape crashes with no backup

Attached: tugs.jpg (597x553, 41K)

I was running xpaint back in the 90s.

this is fuuun : -- DDDDDDd

Attached: tugs.jpg (597x553, 37K)

I'm very productive.

>I always switch to windows when needing Paint.net
what exactly do you do in ms paint that is important that you absolutely need it?

>that resolution
>ubongo
lol

Krita

dont bully I use core M and I didnt bother setting up i3

>muh minimal arch
>almost 5k packages

lmao

>moving goalpost

I use core m3 with i3-gaps on 3000x2000

If you know Paint.net well you'll know the difference. Pinta is shit compared to it.

Not MS Paint, I mean Paint.net. If Photoshop had sex with MS Paint , their child would be Paint.net.
It also supports layers and tons of plugins but isn't as blosted as PS

Memes

it's because loonix freetards spend all their resources figuring out new ways to rice their desktop

only the arch ricers on Jow Forums desu

this!

>How can other graphical environments even compete with KDE?
They can't KDE in the only complete one that just works.

r8 my tux

check out inkscape

By not looking like complete trash and not taking five minutes to boot

Attached: dele.png (343x447, 6K)

I never said "muh minimal arch". There are more than 2 people on this website.
I do have lot's of packages I do not need, but I do not care about "muh minimalism" and this is not the reason I use arch.
lmao my dude, indeed.

>looks like complete trash
you can change appearance of plasma desktop
if you're too lazy to "rice" then download new themes
>taking five minutes to boot
are you on pentium CPU with 20 year old HDD or something?
I'm with almost 5 fucking thousand packages and it boots in ~10 or less seconds (minus time for entering my encryption password and systemd connecting to internet before loading desktop)

>gimp that can't even make circles

r8ed

Pinta can't even corner resize images, it's fucking useless. I just run PSCS4 portable in wine

What are all these threads about.
Every day.

>decades of development
>still no decent simple paint app

lmao freetards are ridiculous

Attached: Untitled.png (800x800, 413K)

Paint.net based as fuck. Never needed photoshop since started using it.

Slow day in Adobe mailroom == shill duty.

>apt search paint
gnome-paint
gpaint
kolourpaint4
mtpaint
mypaint
rgbpaint
ruby-paint
tuxpaint
xpaint

>pulls 20GB of windows deps

would believe. according to Jow Forums everybody is a professional photo-shopping video-editing ms office guru and therefor can't use linux.

use Pinta senpai

why do you think there are so many?
none of them fucking works right
buggy and full of dependences

>buggy and full of dependences

It's good enough. You don't need to make circles.
