I'm not likely to switch away from Google at this point, but Bing is pretty good in the times I've used it. I use the video search extensively for pornography.

It makes sense to do it like that though, otherwise it would need backward compatibility cruft for every previous nightly build since a release.
If you want the end-user experience use the stable release.

They can't be making compat braking changes every night. I think it would be much better to just accumulate the mitigation code that is written, and apply it when necessary. Removing it and starting fresh each major version. What would that actually add, a few kb near the end of a release cycle, on what is essentially a debug build?

If I'm using the nightly branch it means I want the latest version inherently, not an arbitrary one based around when I started the browser.
