Seeing that this is a thread for Windows related topics, I will ask my question here rather than making a thread. I am building a new desktop and I still have my windows 7(64) installation disc, would it be better for me to install it and update to 10 or just buy a Windows 10 64bit?
Install 7, activate, upgrade for free. Create an account to tie the license to an account, then sign out of it if you don't want to be signed in all the time. Then you'll never need to manually activate again unless you do a major hardware refit like replacing the motherboard, but that's where the account comes in.
