AMD IS LITERALLY FINISHED

RTX 2080 TI 3x faster than Vega 64 confirmed

Are you retarded? The 1080 Ti is about 30% faster than Vega 64 (or launch Vega 64, it's probably less now), so the 2080 Ti would be 65-75% faster (if you're retarded and believe anything Nvidia says). How the fuck did you come up with 300% faster in your little brain?

shhh no tears now

>nvidia pr says 35%
>nvidia pr

well sounds like they will be 2x faster if game doesn't take advantage of it. so it makes sense they will be 3x faster if the game does take advantage of raytracing n shit.

also why are you defending a product that hasn't even had a commercial release. vega 56 and 64 have clearly been canceled because they are not value for money. they aint "bad" and I don't care if you have one for asthetic reasons but they have been canceled its obvious now.

Nearly all gamers are running at 1080p
There will eventually be a GPU that is under $10 that can run ANY game at 1080p over 60 FPS on Ultra settings. We are pretty close as it is already. Novidia needs something to keep their GPU business relevant so making up some new bullshit graphics addon to gimp GPU's in general and only accelerate it on their new GPU's ensures they can keep Jewing you for the next decade at least. Rasterization is 'good enough'.

>Under $150
fixed

>a video literally paid for by novideo itself
lmao, is this how low nvidia has gotten? fucking grasping for air!

Vega = 100
1080ti = 130
2080ti = 1080ti+35% = 175.5

2080ti = 2080ti + 25% if new features are enabled = 219.375

2080ti/Vega = 2.19 x faster. Not 3 X.

>lol i was pretending to be retarded

Call me when nVidia makes their drivers open source so someone can actually help them make the drivers non-shit.

this tbqh. I don't care how much faster nvidia cards are if they don't produce an open driver for them. until then I'll stick with intel or amd

wow, 2.5 flamming faggots as source.
hey, that's some serious evidence.

>they will be 2x faster
they won't. I'm guessing 20% faster. And in games that use raytracing? 40-50% SLOWER, not "3x faster". It's too early, raytracing won't run smoothly until the next generation of cards. Just watch, games will run at much higher fps with that turned off on the cards that support it.

they aren't cancelled but you sure are right about the value for your money. As an example, the 1080 costs 7000 SEK right now. The VEGA 56 costs 8000 SEK. Oddly VEGA 64 costs 8200 SEK (barely a difference). Want a 1080ti? That's 9000 SEK. Anyway, the VEGA cards are objectively not hugely better than a 1080.

35% faster, except when you use more than 3.5GB VRAM, at which point they run only at 35% speed

you mean nvidia is finished right?

>le stale meme from 2011 face

Why do these old geezers that run tech websites even care about stuff like framerate when none of them even play games?
